"Our family had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay. The home truly matches the descriptions in the listing! It was in an ideal location in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, with fantastic scenic views overlooking Lake Windermere, and just a short walk to shops and services in town. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the beach for kayaking and relaxing, appreciated having beach towels supplied, and enjoyed the fire table in the evenings.Well furnished, a well supplied kitchen, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The interior was spacious, well maintained, and comfortable for everyone, with nice sleeping and washroom arrangements throughout. We made great use of the spacious back patio deck and lawn area which gave plenty of room to play some outdoor games. Beds were very comfortable, the bunk bed room was great for the kids, and it was also wonderful to have a game and TV area just for them.We also appreciated the prompt replies from the hosts, who provided excellent and detailed check-in and check-out procedures, answered any questions or request for info that we had, as well as support from the friendly next door neighbour. Overall this was a exceptional place to stay, and we are very much looking forward to returning next year!"

Invermere Hostel

10/10 Excellent
"The hostel is perfect for this price. The location is great, with a beach and picnic area just a 2-minute drive away. There are also gas stations and fast-food places nearby. I don’t know why the reviews are so bad. After reading them, I was expecting the worst, but overall, our stay was great. The kitchen, bathrooms, and washrooms were clean and smelled good. The guy who hosted us was friendly as well. We arrived about two hours before check-in, and they kindly let us check in early. We stayed in an economy room on the first floor. The other people staying at the hostel were also nice and friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable and clean. The building itself is old, so you can’t expect anything high-end. However, considering the price, I think it was a great place to stay. Overall, I would definitely come back!"
