"This house in Murphys CA is perfect for a couple visiting town. This was our 2nd time staying in this house. It's a block off of Main Street so you are out of the hustle and bustle of Main Street, but it's a quick walk to all that Murphys has to offer. The house has everything you need and the host is nearby if you have any issues. We will be back."

"Fabulous, clean, and tastefully updated home in a great location! The beds were comfortable, and the home was perfectly situated for walking the streets of Murphys. Despite being on Main Street, it was quiet in the evenings. We couldn't have asked for a better two-night stay for two couples. We will definitely stay here again when our travels bring us back to the Murphys area!"

"This house was perfect for our family of 4 with elementary aged kids. Everything was super clear, easy, just as pictured and advertised. The house was very well stocked for cooking, bedding for cold and hot temperatures, plenty of bath towels for the whole family, etc. There was a closet of family board games and a fire pit in the backyard. The location is amazing for a walkable stay in Murphys, and you can see the kids playing in the park while sitting on the deck. The town library is next door. We had a great stay and were very happy with the whole property and had no need to contact the property management for anything, check in and out was seamless and their emails/messages had all the info we needed."

"We loved this place! My husband I like to stay in places that are quiet, clean and walkable to town. The Heard House did not disappoint. We were greeted by Darrell and Moby upon arrival and felt welcome straight away. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked. A nice touch was having coffee, sweeteners, and half and half already available, plus a few snacks—not a common touch in our experience! We were 1 block off the main drag with tons of wine tasting and restaurants, and even live music. We loved Grounds for breakfast. The town is pretty quiet during the week and revs up over the weekend. We also loved how central the location was to places like Mercer Caverns, Calaveras Big Trees, and Jamestown. Overall, a great place to stay… just what we needed to getaway from our normally hectic lives."

"This home is quaint and charming. It’s just a little walk into town and 1 minute walk to the coffee shop! 3 bedrooms spread out with a good amount of room. Nice bedding and furnishings, upgraded main bathroom is really nice. Our favorite part was the backyard with deck and table surrounded by lovely tall trees with the sounds of nature!"
