The Continental Terme has plenty of space, the rooms are a good size and comfortable. We like the gardens which cover the different areas of the hotel. There are three pools which are great.

Quiet green oasis
Rooms nice and spacious, loved the proximity to all the pools. Hotel feels lije an oasis, full of greenery, flowers, trees heavy with oranges. Need to wear this swimcap in pools, but those are provided for free by the lifeguard. Free parking on other side of hotel, good breakfast (cake!!! Awesome apple strudel the next day), I prefer buffet style....like to go for 2nd capuccino, etc, but no problem, wait staff will being you 2nd one no problem

It has been a while that I had a bad experience with hotels.com. I booked this place because a friend of mine was going there and ask us to join. The place is not a four start hotel. It's old, cracked mirrors and tiles in the room, weird stuff on the bathtub. The front door people are rude, the breakfast was ok but nothing to compare to everything else I've experienced in Ischia. Even the espresso was bad. Some of the stuff member were nice and polite. The main issue was they had a conference during our stay and they put us next to the restaurant and bar. They had late night parties with loud music till 2am. We didn't participate to this so I don't understand why they would put us in the middle of it. They said they couldn't move us cause they were fully booked. Also you pay for everything extra, from towels to using the spa even though it's spa hotel.

A Great Find
We enjoyed a lovely few days here, We were pleasantly surprised with the facilities, our room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the smaller of the pools. The pools were heated and spotless, there was nothing to fault. The outside areas were very clean and well maintained. All areas of the hotel were spotless. The staff on reception were really helpful giving us lots of helpful advice. We were B and B and the breakfasts were plentiful and there was enough choice, although only hot food was scrambled egg. We were told that the dinner food was good. Easy access to Ischia Port by bus from the stop outside (1.50 Euro) and within 20 min walk to the shops in the centre

Lovely tranquil place to stay
Amazing stay, lovely large room, kept spotless by friendly maid, nice area to sit outside, thermal tropical pool just upstairs that was beautiful with plants and flowers all around. Many nice pools and grounds, good spa, very reasonable rates. Friendly hotel staff. Location was a little out of the way but there are buses outside the hotel that go everywhere. A. Very relaxing stay, no matter how busy it was it already maintained a sense of calm and there are plenty of places or privacy when sunbathing etc.

3 Star Hotel with 2 Star service
I love Ischia, just not this hotel. Customer service was ok, until we asked the concierge to arrange a boat rental, he first quoted $300 then changed to $400 and asked we pay him directly in advance in cash. He was bothered when we asked about the sudden increase in cost & annoyed when we said we didn’t have cash on hand. I think he was trying to pocket some of the $. We were suspicious so we asked to see the boat first, as he had no photos of the boat. We walked to the port and the boat was small and not nice. We found a beautiful boat, twice the size, from a local company and paid less money. The hotel is 20 minutes walk to the port and we didn’t spend much time on the hotel property as it was mostly older couples staying here.

Lovely hotel with great facilities
Good hotel with rooms all with little balconies. Clean with good air conditioning. About 1km walk to restaurants and bars and about 2.5 to the port. The spa was great, managed to book in for a back massage the day I arrived. Evening meals were a set of 4 options as many Italians on package deals for dinner. 5 pools to choose from, all in all good hotel, and would stay again. Swim hats in the pools obligatory and are available at the hotel at a charge as are pool towels.

Lovely, clean hotel with several pools - the largest one described as an Olympic pool, it certainly is quite large and clean but not sure about the 'Olympic' label. Friendly and helpful service. It's about a 20 minute walk down to the main port/shopping area - uphill on the way from the town!

Nice hotel for relaxing
You can find all what you need inside the hotel, but for having dinner outside or go shopping you will need to walk to a more central location, it is not so far but some people may find this a drawback (e.g. families with children, people with mobility problems)

1) Cleanliness of my room average. Bath and wash basin not cleaned daily. Although I did not make a remark about it, due to this fact I did not leave a tip at the end like I usually do. 2) Personally, I did not find the Concierge at hotel very helpful. Obtained most of my information from the Tourist Office and/or from the islanders I met! However, most of the other staff in the hotel were very friendly, helpful and polite. 3) Hotel amenities fine. 4) Hotel location good - not too far from the Centre. I walked every day to the Centre and only took the bus for return journey. In my opinion, the other communes too far from Centre - necessitate bus journey each way. 5) Unfortunately, only one Pizzeria/Ristorante next to hotel, if one wants to eat elsewhere rather than at hotel's own restaurant. Having said that, apparently well worth opting for the half-board package at the hotel because more than one guest expressed satisfaction re. quality and choice of food. It would work out much cheaper too that way, rather than just choosing to eat at hotel on the odd occasion. 6) Special remarks: Compared to other 4-star hotels, overall rates cheapest here. Buffet breakfast very good. Variety really adequate to suit all tastes. Admin. staff very willing to change/upgrade room if one is not satisfied, as long as there is availability. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

This was a good hotel with a great location. Make sure you get the preference of beds that you requested. We asked for 2 singles and were instead given one double. When we arrived at our room, the water would not drain from the shower. The 2 outdoor/1indoor pools are pretty amazing and they were patient with us going into the pools at 4am after returing from the clubs. Great pool bar as well.

Continentel Hotel in Ischia, Italy
This hotel had everything we could have wanted for a totally enjoyable, relaxing holiday. With four pools, a gym, spa resort, tennis courts and delicious food we had no need to leave the resort at all. We did however go to the very closely located town, which had a great atmosphere and vibe to it. There were plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and lots of shopping to be done!

A UNCOMMON MIX
Not located in a centric or attractive location. Use of public transportation, taxi is absolutlely neccesary if you which to enjoy the island offerings. A bus stop is located around 300 meters from hotel and also a very good restaurant. Some shopping spots near the hotel and a middle school located right in front of it. Location is not the best. The hotel presents very nice gardens and the room are spread all over the property. A lot of privacy due to the foliage. There are several pool (terme) for enjoyment and kids playground that requires serious maintenance. The rooms and beds are not confortable and the rooma are in decay.Not very well maintained and not very well cleaned. You might find yourself with neighboors living on top of your room so be specific with your request. Some of the rooms have insect problems so be aware. Staff was helpful and promtly moved us to another room. Parking is limited and locted at the back of the hotel approximately 2 blocks away. Access is granted via electronic gate and you must ring the buzzer to get in. Continental Breakfasft was good but not organized. Staff was friendly most of the time. Overall, a fairly good spot to relax but a lot of room for improvement. Check in process might be long most of it done via paper. Can do better...

Stayed here for two nights. Which was enough. The hotel was OK, but a bit to far away from everything. The pools are way to hot, and is warmer than the air (in July). Most of the staff don't speak English at all, and generally in a bad mood. No good service. The breakfast was very nice.

Hotel di charme.
Hotel ottimo, bello e pulito. Molto ben arredato, con molti e ampi spazi comuni. Dotato di più piscine un centro SPA , una piscina di acqua termale, e un bellissimo il giardino. Per quanto riguarda la camera accogliente ben arredata, pulita e silenziosa. Ottima la qualità del confort. Colazione di ottima qualità e vastità dei prodotti offerti, anche se si nota la mancanza di confetture di brand prestigiosi e soprattutto della “Nutella”. Certo visto la vastità della struttura manca un po' di quel contatto e attenzione in più alla clientela. Comunque lo consiglio e rimane di certo il mio punto di riferimento a Ischia, con un ottimo rapporto qualità costo.

4 giorni deludenti prenotati su Expedia.
Due giorni con bagno non funzionante e scoppio della fogna in camera. Sostituzione camera ,con tutti i disagi che comporta.Ma siamo in agosto e la camera riassegnataci è più piccola ,con tv 17" e aria condizionata malfunzionante. Al ceck- out ribadiamo la delusione per il soggiorno ,si scusano e ci dicono di rivolgerci a Expedia !!

Hotel con oltre 50 anni di storia di accoglienza.
Struttura che dall'esterno non fa immaginare le proprie potenzialità, collocata un po' distante dal corso centrale di Ischia Porto.Si sviluppa su più corpi fabbrica immersi in un enorme parco,manutenuto con cura ed attenzione costanti,sviluppato su diversi livelli,quindi con la presenza di molte scalinate(e poche rampe per diversamente abili).Mette a disposizione degli ospiti 3 piscine,di cui una coperta, con acqua calda e possibilità di idromassaggi a cascata/rubinetto per collo/schiena. Tutte le vasche sono continuamente sorvegliate e manutenute scrupolosamente.Il personale si è dimostrato sempre disponibile,cortese ed estremamente efficiente.La camera doppia che ci è stata assegnata è risultata complessivamente confortevole;migliorabile dovrebbe essere l'organizzazione degli spazi del bagno,molto penalizzato dalla collocazione del water proprio dietro la porta di accesso e dalla consolle/lavandino inutilmente sporgente,a danno della possibile presenza di più di una persona nello stesso spazio.Presenti in camera la cassetta di sicurezza , spazio/armadio chiuso da ante con specchi e frigobar molto efficiente,scarsamente dotato (è presente solo una piccola dotazione di acqua minerale),ma molto silenzioso. Piuttosto deludente la Spa con piscina termale/idromassaggi,bagno turco, sauna,vasca Kneipp per le gambe (molto piccola),il tutto con accesso a pagamento (€10 per persona) e con dotazione(telo+cuffia) ugualmente a pagamento.Sarebbe opportuno segnalarlo in brochure

Soggiorno rilassante
Siamo stati una notte tuttavia ci siamo trovati molto bene essendo l hotel vicino il corso principale molto caratteristico la sera, pieno di negozi e localini. Inoltre l hotel si estende in una vasta area ove vi sono numerose piscine termali e giardini dove potersi rilassare

Ad Ischia hanno il grande difetto di non curare il bagno ;forse ancora non hanno compreso quanto sia importante la funzionalità e la pulizia del bagno per il comfort del cliente che va anche aldilà delle dimensioni della stanza.

Un ottimo hotel con svariate piscine termali in posizione centrale. Più che hotel lo definirei un villaggio! Piscine grandi e davvero ben tenute, fiori ovunque,personale gentile e disponibile. Un ottimo hotel dove non manca nulla. Prezzi adeguati al servizio. Sicuramente da consigliare!

Poolområdena var jättefina, men rummen ganska ordinära. Duschen var så snålspolande, alt. igensatt, att det knappt gick att tvätta håret. WiFi funkade sådär och var extremt långsamt.
