"Fabulous lodge, well maintained. Lovely restaurants, only thing there was very long waiting. Food definitely pretty high priced. But loved the location and stay. Might re visit!"
Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa

"The lodge decor was charming as was the room in a Harry Potter closet fashion. The bed was comfortable and the bath and shower were great. The restaurant was excellent but expensive. The location was okay but it is a 17 minute walk into town so the lodge provides included bus passes. The biggest drawback was the lack of air conditioning. The hotel provided a portable fan and the window opens, but that wasn’t enough to be comfortable in August. The hallway had a/c but the staff said they would have to tear down the hotel to extend the a/c to the guest rooms. Not sure we would stay there again, especially in the summer."

"We stayed at Banff Resort for 3 nights and we had amazing time. The property was well maintained and very clean. However, they can invest in gym equipment as a lot of machines are old and out of service . Staff was very polite and overall friendly. Highly recomend this stay."

Johnston Canyon Lodge and Bungalows

"The bungalows are charming, the restaurant is good, but the draw is the entrance to Johnston Canyon Falls and Ink Pots Hike. Because you are on property, you have parking and can hike by 8am or after 5pm and see the sites without massive crowds, then have a hearty breakfast or dinner after at a reasonable priced restaurant. We did have a couple of issues with the Bungalow, and staff a bit defensive that we didn’t communicate it until the end, but I wasn’t asking for discount, just trying to let them know so they could fix before the next guest. Beds were a bit hard, no microwave, but an oven/stove and frig in our 2 bedroom unit. While we had wifi, so so and couldn’t screencast but that’s ok, not here for technology. For us, this was a great stop for one night, so we could hike upon check in and again the next morning. But I didn’t feel it had enough to do to stay longer."

"We had a really nice stay here. The cabin was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. My husband especially loved the coffee! It was about a 20 minute walk to Lake Louise which was perfect. Highly recommend!"
