"We thoroughly enjoyed our lovely stay in the beautiful, rustic cabin on the River. It had everything you could possibly need with a wonderful shower, fully stocked kitchen with utensils and spices and a fireplace that we spent every night in front of. Only suggestion would be to bring your own drinking water. While the water is safe to drink it does have a little different taste to it. Well worth a visit and we hope to go back again."

"My husband, our pup, and I have been vacationing in Northern Michigan every October for years to celebrate our anniversary, and we’ve stayed in many rental homes. This year, our daughter and grandson joined us, and we stayed at this home for the first time. We were absolutely blown away! The expansive property, gorgeous views, hot tub, and beautiful home stocked with everything you could possibly need made this a dream come true! The trails throughout the property and the privacy allowed our pup to be off-leash while we were outside with him. He was a completely different dog—no anxiety, barking, or agitation. He loved it just as much as we did! We took long walks throughout the property and still didn’t manage to explore all of it. Since we didn’t have a lot of time and only had one day of sunshine, we took a few side trips. We got to experience the unbelievable beauty of Torch Lake for the first time, and my husband even taught our grandson to fish. And the location is close enough to Glen Arbor/Empire, Sleeping Bear and Lake Michigan that we were able to do a day trip. Such wonderful memories! I honestly don’t have adequate words to describe the beauty, peaceful setting, and gorgeous home. I’m already planning our return trip- and this time, we’re staying longer! We’ve had several wonderful rental experiences over the years, but none even came close to this home and I’m so grateful to Dale and Mike for sharing it with us!"

It is a WONDERFUL rustic cabin with so much room to roam on trails through the woods and around the lakes. There are lots of fish in the lake and wildlife in the woods. Everything is very comfortable. Highly recommend."
