Family Friendly House with Master BR on Ground Floor
Perfect location, privacy, and convenience! Our property is close to everything and the floor plan is great for those who don't want to carry their things up and down stairs. The ground-level floor includes a modern living & dining room with a cathedral ceiling, complete kitchen with tile counter tops, large master bedroom, laundry room, and bathroom, plus a great screened porch with a relaxing hammock. There is WiFi and a smart tv with Roku. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms. One has a queen bed plus a day bed with trundle, and a half bath. The other has 2 twin beds with a full bath across the hall. Exit the screened porch and walk 1 1/2 blocks to the beach. The private fenced-in front yard includes a large gate which can be opened to provide a lovely view of Hamlin Creek across the street. With the many windows and cathedral ceiling you feel like you are living in the tree tops because our house is surrounded by ancient oaks. Our property is 4 blocks from the Isle of Palms town center with shops, restaurants, and clubs. In addition you can walk a few blocks to the grocery store, seafood shop, and pharmacy. No need for a car unless you want to visit historic Charleston which is 10 miles away. We really enjoyed our stay. House was close to the beach and nearby restaurants. It was the perfect size to accommodate our family that included 4 adults and 3 children. Home was comfortable and clean would definitely stay there again.
The home was rented for a family wedding weekend. The home was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 young children. The walk to the beach was very convenient and the house was comfortable and quiet. Highly recommended!
The house was perfect for our family. Everything that we needed was in the house, including the beach chairs and hammock on the back porch! Carol was easy to communicate with, very responsive, although we didn’t have any issues. The walk to the beach was a quick, easy walk. The house was conveniently located to all the stores and restaurants, we were able to leave the car behind and walk to them everyday. Very clean house, beds were comfortable, nice quiet area, house was what we expected, and as listed. Would stay here again if going to Isle of Palms!
We spent 6 nights and loved our stay. Very convenient location and close to everything you will need on vacation. The bedroom worked great for the grandkids. Our host was very responsive. We would stay there again.
Walking to the beach, restaurants/ bars and groceries was all within 3 blocks. House had beach chairs and umbrella available. Enough room for our 4 adults and 4 young children. The house is a bit worn and could use a refresh on cooking pans, pillows etc.

My husband, sister and I stayed at this picture-perfect home just two blocks from beach and within walking distance of restaurants, bike rentals and grocery store. The house is not huge, but it was comfortable and plenty roomy for us. And it was tastefully decorated and well-equipped. We spent a lot of time on the front patio and back screened in porch. The owner Carol was very prompt in answering any questions. Would definitely stay here again.
This is our second time staying at this property and we will be back. Not only is the location and proximity to the beach and restaurants great, the owner is responsive and helpful! This house is nothing fancy, but it has all the amenities needed as a jumping off point for spending time at the beach! We definitely recommend this location for others.

Great location. We needed a 3rd house for our very large group. 42 total. This house was a perfect addition to the other 2 large homes we had across from the Windjammer. 3 minute bike ride to the beach, icecream, souvenir shops and live rock concerts.
Overall our stay was great. Some of the products provided (shampoo, paper towels, tp, etc.) were used and ran out within the weekend. Beds are very hard and squeeky. Our group did not have enough pillows/cases provided to have a comfortable sleep. Common room was nice and spacious. The walk to the beach was short and convenient. House is in a great walkable area. Overall, would stay again!
Location very good, walking distance to beach and near grocery stores and whatever you need. Carol was the perfect hostess, Very good communicator. I was traveling with my aged and a little mobility challenged parents, so the one step up into the house and the master bedroom/bath w/ walk in shower was perfect for them, while the rest of us stayed upstairs. Darling screened in back porch with little lights, Nice area in the front (chairs and umbrella table), plenty of space to hang out, All amenities were perfect--- any kind of utensil we needed, was there. Even with no ice maker, there are 4 ice cube trays and a bin that we kept filled, and only had to get one bag of ice, and we are ice users!! Would definitely recommend!!! We had a multi event visit to Isle of Palms. My daughter was moving in the area, baby shower and Anniversary. The house was clean, well stocked, close to beach and marina’s and had an amazing fenced in yard. I own an 18 foot center console fishing boat (25 ft. with trailer) and was able to back it in with my truck on the side of the driveway with plenty of room. Driveway was able to be used without moving cars. Very convenient! All stores and many restaurants are just minutes by car. Isle of Palm Marina just a few miles away. Amazing fishing, boating and restaurants available by water.The host Carol is as sweet as can be! She made sure we had everything we needed and was available with any questions. Definitely treated us like family. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat (and probably will since my daughter now lives there). Thank you Carol!
