"We love coming to the area and this house is just wonderful - cool inside when the weather was extra hot. We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D...

"We had a wonderful stay in August 2014. The rental is very homey and cozy, but with plenty of room inside and fantastic grounds outside. It has fantastic views of the countryside. It was a good base for exploring Burgundy including the wine route. It is just outside of Autun, which was fascinating and an hour from Beaune, a charming town. Our only regret was we didn't get to use the swimming pool - the weather did not cooperate. The property owner was a pleasure to deal with."

"Lovely hotel, great position by the canal and basilica. We had a flat tyre in the morning and Mathilda on Reception was an absolute star, Googling methods for loosening tight bolts, watching YouTube videos then jumping on the wrench herself to loosen them - Amazing, thank you. Very good meal too."
