"Property was exactly as listed. It sits on the end of a quiet street with a dog park enclosure directly across the road and a fenced in private yard for anyone with 4 legged friends. The owners have a large beautiful sitting area between the main house and the cottage that is available to use. It has comfy chairs, wind chimes, grill and bar access. It was a nice place to sit, look out over the water and just relax. The house is a short walk, bike ride or drive into town. The music from Buggs Island Brewery can be softly heard at night from the enclosed back porch on the house. If you have a boat, docking is convenient just down the hill from the main house . A little cove for swimming is available as well, though the water was about 5 feet down during our visit ,leading to more than usual visible lake debris. This is part of vacationing on Buggs Island though, the water fluctuates. I would definitely stay here again. The owners were prompt at communication, the property was clean and had everything you might need. It was a wonderful visit to Clarksville.."

"My family of 4, plus our dog, just had the pleasure of spending the past 3 nights at Sunrise Cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. There was homemade cinnamon rolls in the freezer with instructions on how to reheat them, which was such a thoughtful and delicious treat. We spent time on the paddle boards, kayaks and canoe and enjoyed the amazing view. Our dog even made friends with the local dogs, who are very sweet, once they get their barks out lol. We would absolutely love to return sometime."

"I’ve stayed in a lot of homes but this by far has been my favorite. My family absolutely loved everything from the family photos hanging on the walls to having what we needed in the kitchen to cook all weekend. The hot tub was a BIG plus and the master shower has extra jets which made it so relaxing. The house is just beautiful and very clean. We accidentally parked our boat at the wrong dock and the neighbor was very pleasant when I asked him if we were in his space. He wasn’t mad and even said feel free to park there. The whole weekend was just calm and we even saw the cutest baby goats when pulling out of the long driveway across the road in a pasture. My granddaughter was absolutely mesmerized. The owners of the home were great to work with and even met my husband a week after our stay when he realized we forgot something. We will definitely be renting this home again. The only downfall is now I want to build this exact home. Haha! Absolutely recommend everything. So nice, peaceful, and pleasant."

"Brooke and reds place is fantastic! So wonderfully laid out with the open kitchen and living room. The huge deck is perfect! The weather was wonderful, so we lived on the deck. Whoever was cooking and grilling still felt a part of the group. The bedrooms were comfortable and a good size. Bathrooms so clean! It was so well equipped too. There were 9 adults, 2 toddlers and an infant and we had plenty of space!"

"We were so lucky to have the pleasure of staying at The Cooks' Quarters, this place is such a gem. From booking, check-in, duration of stay, check-out and post check-out, communication and response time from Keith was clear, sincere and timely. The property itself was lovely and peaceful, the home was so cute and welcoming when we pulled up. Upon checking in, we were greeted with a warm note from Kathryn, a bowl of fruit and fresh flowers! This place truly felt like a home away from home. The owners have put a lot of time, hard work, attention to detail and thought into ensuring the place would be memorable and comfortable for guests but also that the home could be around for years and years to come. I love'd the history behind the chimney, fireplace and the wooden beams in the ceiling. The cleanliness of this place puts all other places I've ever stayed at to shame. The stove was too cool! Water heated up right away and water pressure was better than almost any other place I've stayed. The shower was great, so much space! The water jets, sprayer and bench were so convenient, especially with small kids. I'm thankful there was no TV and we had a great time reading eachother jokes from the joke book!We got to meet Kathryn, she was so kind and sweet. Her spunk and energy were refreshing. The kids enjoyed all of the animals on the property. I would highly recommend staying here if you ever have the chance! We will be back if ever in Henderson. Thank you so much Keith and Kathryn!"
