"Of all the hotels we've stayed in, regardless of the area and the price, the Mariemont Inn is by far one of our most favorites. It is clean, quiet, and very comfortable and the people are very friendly and helpful. There is a solid, easy elegance to the old building that has been retained but it has also been kept up and modernized beautifully. Parking is easy and the restaurant is very good. We make a point of staying here every time we visit Ohio because it's a wonderful place to chill out and relax. The surrounding town square adds to the pleasure of staying here. It's small and quiet with a few shops and restaurants, very walkable, and lovely. We always look forward to our stay here."
"We were close to the highway and had convenient travel downtown for Oktoberfest. The hotel felt fresh and clean, the shower was good with good water pressure and temperature, as well as dish washer, sink, refrigerator, and spacious work area. The breakfast offered hot options (waffles, biscuit sandwiches), yogurt, cereal and bagels/toast. Parking was easy and check-in/check-out were quick and convenient. Highly recommend, if we are in the area again we will be back. "
"We really enjoyed this location and the house overall. It was very clean and you could tell the owner cared about maintaining the property well. Our son's home is small to be able to host all the family when we come to town, so this property was sizable enough for us all to be able to visit together. The only thing we did not notice in the advertising of this property was the amount of stairs throughout. There are about 9 steps from the driveway to the front walkway, another 3 to the top porch and then into the house. Once inside there are steps down to the sunroom, steps to the upstairs second floor and another 3 steps to two of the upper bedrooms. So if you have mobility issues this needs to be considered. Also, the property does not advertise that there is a required background check to stay in this house. We reserved through VRBO, but were required to sign a separate rental agreement and to use Truvi (upload DL/passport and a selfie) for verification. Personally, this should be stated in the listing and not a surprise after reserving. Otherwise, this is a wonderful property. We had lightbulb issues that were instantly resolved and good communication with the management company. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked to be able to cook/grill meals. There was a coffee pot and a Keurig."
