Uniquely tiny rooms and bathroom. Have never stayed in a room that small. AC was not working and the weather was hot so had to sleep with open windows which was noisy. Breakfast was not bad, just OK.

While the property is very simple, it is a great place. One can walk down to the ocean in about 20 min. There are also many small stores near the property and great Turkish food.

Proprietors are deceptive. I reserved a non-smoking room in this supposedly non-smoking hotel. When I arrived after a long day of travel, I was taken up 4 flights of stairs to a room that reeked of smoke. I was too tired to refuse the room, but, after 4 hours of inhaling nostril-stinging nicotine embedded in the fabric headboard and curtains, I called downstairs and was told there were no other rooms available. I resorted to sleeping in the bathroom, with the door closed! At 08:00, I demanded a new room, and was given one by Ismael. Aside from his assistance, and being the unfortunate one to hear my wrath, this place is a smoker's haven. My new room was across the hall from the kitchen service entrance, which reeked of fresh smoke from employees. I had to place a towel below my door to keep that smoke out of my room. If you have a health condition, do not stay here.

I stayed at Piano Hotel in 2 different rooms at different times, my stay this time had a nicer room Superior double I thing is called. Their breakfast is very good and generous, all and all this is a very nice small hotel with very helpful staff especially the young girl at the frint desk super nice and patient, I would stay here again if in Izmir

The hotel is well located downtown the city of Izmir. The rooms are small and the bedroom furniture was outdated and even broken. Some necessary updates would be welcomed. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good with various options.

Room with balcony spacious quiet and worthwhile
This is the second review I'm writing as I don't know why my initial review didn't get recorded. It is because I was very pleased with my stay at the piano hotel that I am taking time to do this review. I want to acknowledge Mr. Ersen at reception for his professionalism and helpfulness. I was in town for a half marathon and sightseeing and was given a room with all of my preferences. Thoroughly enjoyed the room and view from balcony. Highly recommended and will stay there again upon my return

Classy piano-focused hotel that's central
From the start, Ersen was very helpful in providing a quiet room with my preferences and suggesting relevant local information. As an amateur pianist, it's great to visit a hotel with a well-tuned piano; there are name brand 5 star hotels with pianos out of tune. The breakfast was diverse however, I didn't have to time savor so I suggest guest find the time to enjoy. Plus there's a second floor area to relax.

Online pictures of the room were misleading. We booked the superior room with the balcony and the room was tinyyyyyyy!! The "balcony" was a sliver of area outside, where you could not even sit or have two people stand. Room also felt old. Walls were thin and you could hear the other nearby room conversations and when doors would open and close which was disruptive when we were trying to sleep. Interactions with most of the front desk employees were not particularly warm or friendly. Will say the breakfast was great - good selection, tasty and fresh ingredients. Location was great for being in the city center and walkable to major spots.

The hotel is within easy walking to Konak and Alsancak areas. The room was basic but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The included traditional style breakfast had lots of options. The airline had lost my bag, but the hotel were very comforting and helpful in getting it back.

Good location, small room with high price.
The room is small with single bed, sink in the room, and no space for keeping personal belongings as the side table is used to keep the small fridge. The price is considered high if compared the room size. However the location and cleanliness are satisfactory.

As promised- this is a great place to stay Izmir!
What an easy stay. Really convenient location, helpful friendly staff, and a good value for the money. proximity to the old town, harbour, bazaar, Agora- was a great short walking distance. The rating going into this property was a deserved 8.8- realize that this is not opulent, it is simply just very satisfying. I didn’t want the trappings and price of a high-priced chain hotel- this is a great alternative that I would use again for a fun outing in Izmir. Absolutely no negatives for this property. The adjacent 88 bar is a great place for a nightcap. Thanks to the crew for an enjoyable stay- if I return to Izmir this will be my first consideration for a place to stay.

Dont be fooled but the past review as my husband and I did. First of all the room that they offered was not suitable for a couple, our luggages didnt have enough space, also I we want to go to the bathroom whom it happened to be outside the room, I would have to jump off my husband on the bed. So when we asked for another room, he charged us $60 for the whole 5 days. I am more convince that its a trap to get more money. The bathroom in the new room is soo rusty, the shower head is dirty and awful. My husband had to buy scotch tape to keep the seat cover open because it keeps closing on us. The faucet keeps leaking greenich liquid. On top of that the roudness of the guy at the check in is disgusting and shameful and it continues to the morning hostess to the laudry ladies whom they didnt clean our room on the first day bcs we left our room at 11 am, so they wants us to leave early, how about I plan my trip for there convinience? The next day they kept talking loudly and slap things up just to make us leave. The morning buffet whomnit happen to be the be the same daily deefrost food, we happened to got nothing to do with Izmir's famous breakfast. We couldnt wait to leave that nightmare expirence. I wonder how they got all those certificates from expedia and other sites. I will make sure personaly to let all the travel agencies in Leb that its a trap hotel

Hello All rooms are clearly specified with the details, and even the squaremeters. You have booked the room called ECO DOUBLE. this is the cheapest rooom, probably you went for the price and not the details. When you change to another room category it is abvious that we get a difference, and this difference was 15 USD per night, which is very reasonable. If not then everybosy will book a room for 30 USD per night and ask for a free upgrade. In total with the upgrade you paid 45 USD per night for 2 persons,(22,5 USD per night) including Breakfast, taxes and VAT. This amount is not a money trap at all. Please read the details of the rooms you book for the next time. ıf there was a problem in the bathroom, it was enough to call us, instead of taping the seat cover. With pulling it a bit, we could have fixed it in a second. I think after the bad experience of selecting a wrong room, you must have taken everything personally. So everything else came as very bad. We are always kind. and helpfull. Good luck

This hotel is beautiful, easily located around shopping, dining and parking was pretty easy as the hotel assures you a spot as often as possible. I loved their breakfast in the mornings, and cleaning service each day. I loved my private patio and the staff was always giving me great suggestions of wonderful places to eat! I would love to go back to Izmir and stay here!

Great price but you get what you pay for. It’s essentially a hostel. The rooms are so small that they’re like a glorified walk-in closet. Just to clarify, our mini bathroom was across the hall from the room. So really keep that in mind.

Hello dear Anonymous guest The only room which has the bathroom accros the room is the ECO DOUBLE room. We only have 3 of them. All squaremeters are specified exaclty. It was your selection to stay in this room. 23 other rooms have their bath inside((

Pis ve rutubet kokulu
Odaya ilk girdiğim andan itibaren katlanılamaz bir koku vardı, sanıyorum rutubetti. Mide bulantısı yaptı ve camı açıp acilen çıkmak zorunda kaldım. Camı kapatınca kısa sürede koku geri geliyordu o yüzden bu soğukta cam açık uyumak zorunda kaldık. Koku asla gitmedi. Yetmezmiş gibi yataktaki çarşafta toz ve pislik vardı. Kesinlikle tercih etmeyin

Fantastic place in Izmir
Piano Hotel was fantastic. When I remember izmir I will remember Piano Hotel because it was better than whole trip to izmir It changes the concept of hotel three stars with amazing Decorations ( everything is colorful and like piano the room was beautiful and breakfast) Plus all of that they gave me room for triple even I booked single room just because they had extra room, they were very helpful in describing the road to airport and I sent to them before I arrived to izmir and they responded. Plus all of this their location is very good and near to everything,really I can’t say more than you are hotel with 5 stars I encourage them to become more famous and keep prices by this because they made very good branding to themselves
