"The breakfast bar was, by far, the best I have ever seen. Parking was safe and accessible. Staff was helpful, and the rooms were very clean. The proximity to my meetings at the Classic Center made everything so easy. I will be back!!"

"The hotel itself was excellent, and our stay on the second floor was otherwise very enjoyable. However, the noise level from the room above us was quite disruptive. After driving more than four hours to arrive, I was hoping for a restful night’s sleep, especially since I needed to be up at 6:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the noise made that difficult, and I only managed to get around five hours of sleep."

"For an overnight stay in Athens, this was perfect. I appreciated how clean everything is, breakfast selection was very decent and fresh, staff was smiling and welcoming. Room was perfect for a quick business trip, loved that there was no creepy bed spread, everything looks pretty new and well maintained. If all HIExpress locations are like that, that will be my go-to."

"My bathroom inside my room was absolutely unacceptable upon arrival. There was fecal matter and urine all over the toilet, which made the space unsanitary and uncomfortable. I immediately contacted the front desk to report the issue, but I was told no one could clean the bathroom until the next morning. No alternative room, upgrade, compensation, or refund was offered. The lack of cleanliness and customer service made this an extremely disappointing experience."

"Had a wonderful stay in Athens this weekend. The condo was perfect for our family of 4 as we celebrated our oldest’s graduation from UGA. We had my 82 year old mother with us so we needed space that was quiet and comfortable. It was a busy few days and having such a great “home base” was incredibly helpful. Because of the crowds downtown we ate at home for all our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. He had everything we needed. We loved the backyard area - enjoying a cocktail in the evening and a cup of coffee in the morning. Such an awesome space! Loved the large Uga painting in the living room . Bedrooms and baths were clean, and we all had plenty of room. Highly recommend this house, and we hope to stay here again our next time in Athens! "

"Very well appointed home. Perfect size for a short stay. It had everything I needed. I was concerned about the location of the home (in the backyard of the main house), but due to the outside lights (when I got back late at night) I felt perfectly safe! The only issue I had was the house was not ready to enter at the promised check in time. I had to contact the host to get the check in instructions because I did not receive it at the promised time. I had to wait to enter the home due to it not being cleaned (allegedly due to someone checking out late). The host did communicate well regarding this matter, but in the future I hope this doesn’t happen again.As I stated, gorgeous property! Thanks for the stay! "
