Everything about the Hoyt House is exceptional.. it is located in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of some great restaurants and shopping. The staff is attentive without being obstrusive. Lindy and David, the owners, are warm and welcoming and they are you will want to be your newest best friends.

My wife and I stayed weekend of July 26. We enjoyed the quaint quiet retreat. Pool was amazing. Breakfast was like a Michelin star chef was cooking these very nice and succulent breakfast dishes. The convenience of the property placement made it right were all the shopping and fun spots that the historic district had to offer. Thank you for taking care of our needs, to all the staff at the Hoyt House. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that likes quiet little getaway in a bustling beach city.

Wonderful bed and breakfast.

This was a wonderful traditional bed and breakfast. Super friendly, clean comfortable rooms. The pool and hot tub were a great bonus. They also served a big, delicious breakfast.

The property is wonderful! Even though it is at the intersection of 2 busy roads, our room #3 was tucked away from it all. Very quiet. As with any B&B, you are enjoying what the hosts like for breakfast, or what they think you might like. It's OK not like everything, it's natural. But give it a try! Help the hosts out and don't be rude. We will definitely be back.

First, the hosts were outstanding! All rooms were clean, well laid out, and nicely decorated. Coffee and tea 24/7 and a bar!! The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We have no complaints and highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. Most definitely 5 stars.

Having fun at the Hoyt House

This b& b has an amazing location. Walkable to old town and very cozy. Staff was helpful but not overbearing. Very well appointed. Would recommend highly!

It was nise to beanle to park and walk to restaurants and shops. They provided bikes and beach chairs as well. The front porch was a nice area to relax and people watch. Tge back yard pool area was inviting as well.

Not bad, but not the best B&B . Bed was made but room was not cleaned or garbage picked up. Very strict time to have breakfast( before 9) although nothing was made on the spot. House was pretty and in a good location, walking distance to good shopping and dining

Couldn't have asked for a better stay - other than the weather. :) Hosts are super friendly. Room was perfect for us. We've been looking for a replacement for the B&B we used to go to when we lived in Minnesota. We just may have found it. I'm pretty certain we'll be back!

The staff was wonderful. Check in a breeze. The ONLY reason we marked this less than the full 5 stars was the breakfast. The hashbrown egg casserole. was over baked - the same vegetarian casserole 2 days in a row, was extremely underwhelming. The scone was fabulous - but we could not eat breakfast there 3 days in a row.

Excellent location. New owners are just ok. The room is loud and noisy the entire night from road traffic. I had major issues with them saying they didn’t have my reservation and they couldn’t tell if I had paid for my room even though I had pre paid. They said they couldn’t work out the issue with Travelocity and said they weren’t sure if they could accommodate us unless I worked out the issue myself with Travelocity even though I had a confirmed booking and a receipt for my paid reservation, and they started all of this 2 hours before my scheduled arrival. The situation ruined an important surprise and added stress to a short trip. I wouldn’t stay again.
