I was pleasantly surprised as motel six is not normally my first choice in a place to stay. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Not fancy, but it had all the necessities. I would have liked to have seen some thicker towels, but this was Motel 6 after all and not the Hilton. The parking lot was also well lit, which is great from a safety standpoint. The motel was sandwiched in between a Wendy’s and a waffle house, which was great for a quick meal in the evening and breakfast in the morning. My only dissatisfaction was checking in due to the clerk, who smelled like he bathed in a gallon of smelly, chemical -smelling cologne. I could barely breathe when I walked in the office to check in. These people and these strong, horrible colognes need to really get a clue.
