Beach condo

Property was clean and functional. Would have like to have had 4 chairs for table. The noise of the construction above us was very annoying and we couldn’t enjoy any time actually in the condo because of it being so loud. Location was good.

I love this place. This is my second time staying here and it's been nicely updated. The beds are super comfortable. The location is so great. I love having the pool to jump into after being at the beach all day. Coffee shop and Thai food within walking distance. My dogs' favorite thing to do is sit on the balcony and look out at the ocean. When we first got here, we had an issue with the Internet not working. I contacted the host and they immediately took care of the problem. The level of communication is superb. They really care about the quality of your stay.

Kavi was an amazingly gratious host. The spot is steps from the beach and a short drive from anything you could need. Fantastic, highly recommend.

Fantastic location

I am a repeat customer at this location. It is a hidden jewel. It is just perfect for a family/and/or friend getaway. It is completely pet friendly. My 'Fido" loves it here. Thanks for having my friends, Fido and me this week.

Christmas with family

We loved this property! The location is perfect for our needs and the view of the ocean was wonderful. I love to sit on the balcony and have my coffee watching the waves. The elevator was a wonderful plus as I am handicapped. Someone complained about the front door being hard to close but it wasn’t if you turned the door knob. Definitely coming back to this location on future trips!

Perfect spot by beach

Overall this was a perfect spot. Kavi was very responsive with questions. Bed(s) were comfortable and sheets were clean. Other than the front door sticking because of age, I would stay here again.

Great Location!

This unit was a few steps to the beach with a lovely view of the waves which we could hear throughout the day and night. Things were clean and our check in and check out process were simple. The hosts were always quick to reply with any messages. Everything was in working condition and we could tell that furniture and some kitchen supplies had been updated since the photos have been taken of the property. Beds and furniture were comfortable. We would stay here again!

Such a wonderful stay!!

Loved the location and quaintness of the unit. This unit was just what we needed for a getaway with my family. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great view of the ocean from the balcony. We loved having the ocean view and seeing the street as people rode along on beach bikes. Access to the elevator was beneficial as I have bad knees. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the host, Kavi, was very responsive and accommodating. If you want to be near the beach in a clean and affordable VRBO, you can’t go wrong with this place!! We have already booked our stay to come back this summer!

Close to Mayo

My husband was having surgery at Mayo Clinic and we needed a place to stay near by. It was clean and comfortable, and close by. The only negative was the major road construction that obstructed the entrance of the building the entire stay. And at one point the water was even turned off due to the construction. I was told that the owners were notified and I feel that this should have been communicated to us. We would stay again, if there was no construction.

Great beach & Kavi is a great host.

Kavi was very helpful and attentive to our requests. The AC went out on the first day we were there, and he made sure an AC company was there early on Monday and it was fixed before the end of the day. He also followed up the next day to make sure it was working. We liked the beach because it was less crowded than the gulf side, very wide, beautiful sand, mostly public with no large rows of resort-owned rental beach chairs.

Worked for us

Nice clean place worked good for us, but is older. Beds were comfortable, couch good, 1 deck chair had a broken foot rest no biggie to us. Easy beach access and nice pool . No baking sheet, or measuring cups . Tv in room by patio didn’t connect only tried to use it 1 time let owner know. Bath towels could use updating. Beach towels were great. Good starter supplies

Lovely place

This is our second time staying at these condos, first time at this particular one. I worried because it's more of side view of the ocean, but it turned out to be perfect. Sitting on the balcony, enjoying the ocean breezes was heavenly. The place is clean and cute. It's just as advertised. The only issue was that we didn't have the entry code when we arrived, but the owner got back to us right away with the code. I would definitely come back! The fact that it's pet friendly is a plus. The pool is nice and several times we had it all to ourselves. And Jax Beach is great. Also there are a couple of nice places to eat within walking distance -- a great Thai restaurant and a couple of good places for breakfast. And a short drive away is Atlantic Beach with excellent dining options. Try The Local -- great food, atmosphere, and drinks.

Perfect beach getaway!

This beachfront condo in Jacksonville Beach offers an ideal seaside escape with stunning ocean views and direct beach access. The interior is better than I expected. The living room is a nice size, large television with all streaming services available. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, coffeemaker, Keurig, microwave. The beds are comfortable. The balcony has an amazing view. Having an in-unit washer and dryer is great for doing laundry right before leaving your vacation. There is an elevator and multiple carts that you can use to help you bring your items, if needed. The closet in the garage with the beach items needs to be properly labeled as it should be labeled "12" but it isn't and it is right next to number 7 which makes no sense. Also, the bottom hinge is broken so you need to be careful when opening the door. Also, the front door to the unit is a little hard to close. Waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunrise from the balcony is simply magical. Definitely will be going back to this rental again.

GREAT STAY

Communication was great. Kavi replied within minutes of any questions. The view from the condo was amazing, several resturants within walking distance, the beach was awesome and our dog Murray absolutely loved walks on the beach, Most resturants also dog friendly. Unfortunately we didnt have any sun this week so we did not use the pool area which was very clean and had a turffed area for lounging. Thank you for such an amazing beach though, as lots if walking was done. It certainly appears Kavi is working on improving the confo as several boxes of misc. household items showed up just before we left and notified a new fridge and stove being delivered the day we were leaving. Unfortunately we could not find the grill as listing showed a grill. Thanks Kavi, you can't control the weather, otherwise our stay was great.

Moldy beach palace

It was the worst experience ever. The unit front door did not close without extremely rough slamming which can’t easily be performed by a handicapped person. Did have elevator but nothing else was handicapped user friendly including both the front door and slider. Although the unit appeared clean with nice fresh towels and bed linens there was a terrible moldy odor. We did have to turn the heat on so possible that the heating system was the culprit. I called the host Kari and explained that I could not tolerate the smell and allergic response to whatever was in the air. He told me that he would contact vrbo to give me a refund as we vacated before 11 am and were only there 12 hrs. This never happened and after 4 calls to vrbo claims I am still on hold. I can overlook not having a microwave that isn’t functional a difficult to maneuver egress and regress (unsafe) and even stained curtains. But if you have an immediate persistent respiratory issue while inside a property and notify a host immediately it should be a non issue.

Old Mix-Match

Let’s start with the positive. The condo was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner graciously allowed us to check in a couple of hours early. That said, the furnishings appeared to be “old attic.” One example: the barstools at the bar were table height so when sat in a persons nose was level with the bar. The kitchen furnishings would meet bare minimal standards. One bedroom had no closet and no hooks on the wall to hang belongings. The front door had to be slammed shut to close. Simply out, the condo did not appear to be “loved”. We noted yes, we enjoyed our stay as our daughter lives in Jacksonville and we spent most of the time at her house. That was a life saver for if I had planned to cook Thanksgiving dinner in the condo I would have been in big trouble. The condo is street side so just be aware there is a long walk from the elevator; however, there are stairs very close to the door.

Would like to first commend the host for his willingness to work with changing our reservation dates due to unforeseen circumstances. We arrived to an almost complete kitchen remodel. We did find a few necessary items missing, but nothing that a trip to Target couldn’t take care of. Location is great with nice beach view from the unit. The walk to the beach is easily accessible and is absolutely beautiful. Things noted during our stay were the kitchen sink was leaking and the washer makes a horrible sound ( but works). I made the owner aware and assume these issues would be handled after our departure. Our only complaint would be the unit upstairs was being renovated throughout our entire stay, nothing the owner could do for that.

Very easy check in Couldn't ask for a better location. Few steps from the beach. Everything close by even within walking distance. My family truly enjoyed themselves. Very responsive host. Always got back to me to resolve any situation in a timely manner.I would gladly stay again in any property this host has. Just needed another bathroom for a family of 5
