Updated One Bedroom Apartment in Eclectic Beach Front Shack - Sleeps 2 Guests

This eclectic ocean front house is fully renovated and furnished in a fun and beachy theme. The unit features exposed wood ceilings, an updated kitchen, plush linens, and the perfect amenities for your beach vacation. It is bright and open with views of the courtyard. The courtyard out back is the perfect spot for hanging out, grilling, and enjoying sunsets!

Sea Glass Cottage is a 4 unit beach front home featuring a large central courtyard. This apartment has views of the courtyard. It has exposed wood beam ceilings and updated beach decor throughout the unit. The living space is an open concept room that has a dining table for two, a couch and armchair and a smart TV (HD cable + streaming capabilities) for relaxing after your day at the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking essentials needed for your stay, including a Keurig for your coffee fix. There is a microwave and stove/oven for cooking meals as well as a full refrigerator and freezer. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, built in closets for storing clothes, an iron and ironing board, a ceiling fan, and bedside tables with reading lights. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub, linens, and storage for your toiletries (not provided). Additional amenities include a hair dryer and beach towels for your use during your stay. There is a shared washing machine and dryer on the property for all units to use.

Guests will have full access to all common areas of the property. The property features a large outdoor courtyard and entertaining space that is for all guests to enjoy. In the courtyard you will find adirondack chairs, a grill, multiple dining areas, and two outdoor showers. The property has a beach walk just across the sand road to make accessing the beach a breeze!

Fresh linens are provided along with starter housekeeping supplies which include paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, basic toiletries, a few K Cups, and trash bags.

The north end of the island is a very laid back area. The beach is generally not crowded and frequented by locals and surfers! You can walk to Main Beach Park that has a playground, gazebos along the beach, and mini golf. For dining, you can walk to Salt Life and the Sand Bar. Driftwood Surf Shop is located within walking distance as well. Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach is located less then 2 miles away and is an easy drive or bike ride!

Amelia Island is a small area and is very easy to navigate! There is free parking available throughout the entire island making driving very easy to any place you choose to visit.

Perfect place for a weekend or week

My 16 yr old daughter and I had the best trip! The cottage was adorable, the access to the beach was easy breezy and we could even walk to dinner! Check in was seamless and we felt safe the whole time which was very important to me. We definitely want to come back soon.

Perfect escape from the cold!

We spent 5 days on Amelia Island and this was a wonderful location. The cottage was picture perfect, clean and right by the beach. The quaint, historic town is a five minute drive away. There are beautiful nature walks to be had close by and the sunrise on the ocean is a must. We will certainly return for a longer stay.

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage is just like the picture, clean and very convenient to the beach access. It's literally across the way. The kitchen is well stocked. We only had coffee but all you need is there. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks for our wonderful time.

Sea Glass cottage is just the right size for a couple and a fur baby. The unit was clean and well equipped. The only downside was the lack of an ocean view, but it was literally steps to the beach. Will definitely book again!.

30 miles for Pledge the Pink

We travelled to Amelia Island for Pledge the Pink 2024 event. This condo was the perfect location for our stay and meet all of our needs. The location right by the beach is great for everyone. The renovations and decor were nice and clean. I really like the cubby holes to help with storage and the hanging bars in the bedroom. We appreciated the supplies to get started. A great place to stay and enjoy the island.

Family Vacation on way to see family

My family of four and our dog stopped for 5 nights on our way to NC to visit family from south FL. We loved the location. The unit was tight for our family but the thoughtfulness of the unit helped to keep everything picked up. There was a place to store everything. We had no complaints and the kids loved it! This was a wonderful place to stay! The location was perfect. Beautiful cottage style and refreshing. Loved the common area. Bring extra towels and beach towels to avoid having to do laundry which is just off the courtyard. Also, the shower handles should face down to have an adequate water temp. We can't wait to come back!!

Beautiful Little Space

Wonderfully close to the beach. Nicely appointed. No dishwasher, but that's not really important to us, but could be for others. Only real improvement would be a removable shower head. The lower water pressure makes getting all the sand off a huge challenge, even though i used the outdoor shower (wonderful) before going into the unit. Overall, it was a great place to stay and very responsive hosts.

Hate to let the secret out!!!

The location is awesome! We love the old school feel of this place. Just steps away from the beach. The serenity of the beach is awsome. The beds are comfortable, everything you need in a Kitchen. The only draw back and it is very minor. No TV in the bedroom to watch late night tv, and the living room furniture is not the most comfortable to sit on. Definitely need mire comfortable chair and couch. But don't let that stop you from considering this place. We love it. 2nd time stayin in 2 years.

Cute little apartment

This is a cute little apartment!! Everything was clean and as listed. Having to walk by the chairs on the narrow walkway to get to the apartment was a little awkward. We really enjoyed our time and my only critique would be that it's probably time to get a new mattress. It felt to me like it was sagging in the middle and it was very squeaky. Otherwise the place was great and I loved the little courtyard.

Great place to stay right on the beach!

We loved staying here! It was the perfect location right by the beach, not at all crowded and within walking distance or a short ride to restaurants and other amentities. It was very clean and the communication from the host was great. If you are looking for a quiet get away for you and one other person at a slower pace and in an uncrowded area, this is the place to stay! It is the perfect place to stay with you and another person. The cottage can accomidate up to 4, but is much better suited for 2 people with only 1 bathroom. We also loved all the little details in the cottage that made it feel like a cozy beach get away. The only thing people should be aware of is that you do share walls with your neighbors so you can sometimes hear them. Our neighbors were pretty quiet though so it really was not an issue for us. Overall I highly reccomend this place for a get away with you and someone else! You won't regret it!

Very clean and great location. Queen bed and uncomfortable mattress. No TV in bedroom. Ice maker and washer and dryer listed as amenities, but had neither. Inconvenient that the bathroom was off the kitchen and through the living area from bedroom. At night, too much light came through the blinds in all the rooms - need some block out curtains. Main complaint... both front and back doors have clear glass (with frosted designs) and anyone could look into the main room(kitchen, living area) anytime.
