This is a small private campground made of three authentic Wilderness Cabins from Walt Disney World`s Fort Wilderness Resort — relocated straight from Disney to Callahan, Florida, with their original wood-paneled walls, vintage décor, and authentic furnishings preserved intact. Fort Wilderness opened in 1971 as part of Disney`s original vision, and these cabins hosted families from around the world for decades. Now all three sit side by side on Explorer Trail in quiet, rural Nassau County — and Tall Pine sits under the pines in the row.

Think of it as your beach-day basecamp. In about 30 minutes you`re on Jacksonville`s beaches; in 35–40 you`re walking the historic streets of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. I-95 and US-1 are minutes away, so day trips are easy — and every evening you come back to your own quiet campground instead of a crowded condo hallway. Fire up the charcoal grill, eat outside, repeat tomorrow.

Book Tall Pine on its own, or take the whole campground — Big Oak and Sycamore sit right next door, and the three cabins together sleep up to 18 without splitting the group across town. Our fourth Callahan cabin, The Outpost, is just up the road.

Inside you`ll find a full kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fast WiFi, and beds for 6. Pet-friendly with prior approval.

• Check-in after 4:00 PM / Check-out by 10:00 AM
• No smoking or vaping indoors — outdoors only.
• No parties or events without prior approval.
• Registered guests only — no unapproved visitors.
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM (please respect neighbors and wildlife).
• Please lock doors and windows when leaving.
• Do not move furniture between rooms.
• No fireworks, candles, or open flames.
• Clean dishes, cookware, and utensils before check-out.
• Do not leave food outside — it attracts wildlife.
• Place garbage in sealed bags and use outdoor bins.
• Enjoy the Disney Fort Wilderness history — but please treat décor and furniture with respect.
• Report any damages or issues immediately.
• $25 pet fee per stay — please add your pet when booking.
