"Room was basically clean. My only complaint is that the shower worked intermittently. When I got it to a temperature that wouldn’t scald me it stopped. After a few minutes tried it again, got a burst of water for 1 minute then it turned off again. This performance repeated several more times til I gave up on it. Staff were friendly. Plenty of parking."

"Mat and Wolfie made our stay at the Wellington wonderful! Both were helpful with suggestions for hikes and food. We had long conversations with each. The pub had a nice fire,and Wolfie was kind, hospitable, and intriguing. Mat helped us find the most perfect room as we were walkins arriving just before dinner. He told us stories and laughed and enjoyed our interest in the area. It was definitely one of our most favorite stays in the UK. The hotel is charming and a quintessential UK pub hotel. The food was excellent too! A full five star stay! Thanks Wolfie and Mat!! We will see you again. "
