Top Jaina Island Mayan Historic Site Hotel Reviews
Hotel Plaza Campeche
10/10 Excellent
"The service at the hotel was excellent, with courteous and friendly staff. The location was also very convenient—within walking distance to the city center."
"A very well located historic property. Close to many restaurants, public squares, and museums. Great for exploring the city by walking or by short taxi rides. The staff was very helpful especially considering our Spanish was not very good."
"After we booked, there was no communication from the host. I emailed several times looking for the entry process, but I received no response. I called, but I received no response. On the day of the stay, we finally got a hold of someone. They said they couldn't rent to us because the AC wasn't working. I told them that it was no issue; we would still take the place. They then said there were workers there. Again, I said no issue; they( the workers) wouldn't be there at night. Again they said they couldn't rent it. They finally offered us a stay at another location, which was more of a hotel, so not a homestay, so no kitchen, living area etc, as we had no option we took that stay. I believe they had double booked, it would have been nice to know earlier that they couldn't rent the place, rather than us having to chase them down till the last minute."
