"Beautiful place. Away from the hustle of town. It was off season when we were there so it was very quiet. Restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch. Pool was awesome. Lots of stuff to do during the day in the area and then head back for a relaxing evening. Monkeys would visit most afternoons. My daughter loved the resident cats and guard dog. The animals were as friendly as the staff. Thinking about bringing more family next year."

"The view was incredible! I could spend four days by the pool. It was great to have the shuttle (4x4) to the beach. It is not a swimming beach at all, but it is great for watching the waves and reading a book. Drinks were delicious, though the good was hit or miss. (The tuna tartare was incredible; the seafood platter was a sad disappointment.) The staff were very kind and helpful and there was yoga on the weekends with a transcendent view."

"Ideal location to stay with family or friends, close to two beaches, three pools and other services such as restaurants and butterfly garden. Property needs maintainance at some parts. Road to the resort is full of holes and needs to be repaired. Reception staff at check in was not friendly, on the other hand others were. A bit more interest in the guests would lead in to more returning guests."

"This hotel is very beautiful, but something to keep in mind. The food and beverages from the restaurant are very over priced. Just as an example a glass of Prosecco was roughly 22-25$ (USD) which is enough to just go out in town and buy your own bottle. Also, the breakfast for just my wife and I (buffet breakfast) cost us roughly $70 USD. The breakfast selection was basic and not impressive at all. We basically wondered what we paid 70 dollars for when we saw our choices. The property is beautiful and the service was amazing! Please keep in mind it is in the jungle so you will hear jungle noises at night. Which is to be expected and honestly I thought it was pretty neat."

"We had the best time ever in this gorgeous home. The views are amazing. We had coffee with toucans and macaws, evening visitors like coatimundis, and so many other birds. Stargazing was fun sitting by the pool at night. We loved jumping in the pool after a day of adventures, and even swimming in a pop up rain storm. We were able to easily travel down to Play Herradura and Jaco beach for activities and restaurants. Having the grill on the deck was great for when we just wanted to relax and have some burgers. Edgar was a wonderful concierge. Extremely attentive and communicative. Adam and Maurice were so easy to chat with and figure out all the booking requirements.I give this a 10/10 and already recommending to friends and family who saw our amazing pictures and want to go. "

"Alex welcomed us and showed us around. He connected with us on WhatsApp to ensure we could contact him anytime we needed him.The house is absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking! There are plenty of birds to watch, the Scarlet Macaws are beautiful…..and noisy! The pool was also a highlight and was not cold. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The road up is pretty bumpy but well worth it once you get there! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return here if we ever come back to Costa Rica."
