"Check in guy with glasses was polite even when seeing him in crossing. Now they have you come to the front desk for extra towels and wash clothes I didn’t mind stayed 3 days . But I go to get them what I find very rude housekeeping behind the desk getting their things for the day NOT ONE gestures one second let me get somebody knowing the lady was over on the kitchen because they were there talking to her when I was over there. I didn’t know she was the same person doing the desk. At least 4 walked through talked to each other while seeing me stand there over 5 minutes waiting for someone until I annoyingly said EXCUSE ME!!! It was hard getting towels and wash clothes knowing me and my kids were staying multiple night and NO I didn’t have a do not disturb on my door. "

"The hotel door deadbolt wouldn't lock unless the door was pulled up and towards the hinges. It was a two person job to be secure in the room. The toilet had hair and piss on the toilet seat. The end of a joint was left in the bathroom where the towel rack was. The shower wall was stained pink in places. The hotel phone wasn't connected. The outside smelled like piss. Nothing was clean On top of that, the toilet wouldn't flush in the evening. We called the front desk and were hung up on twice. When the person finally stayed on the line, they said maintenance wouldn't be there until 9am and offered no solution. I told them that we needed a working toilet and was informed that they would call us back. I waited 20 minutes before I called the front desk AGAIN. The line rang but the front desk didn't answer. We called several more times before we trudged down to the front desk to figure out why the phone wasn't being answered. The front desk person was outside talking on their cell phone. We let them know that we were from the room that didn't have a working toilet and finally they said that they would come down with the plunger. It took them 10 minutes to walk all of 50 meters to the room. They then proceeded to splash toilet water everywhere in the bathroom and around it, which meant that some of our items were hit with the toilet water. The best part? Right after the guy left, THE TOILET STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. We had to get help again in the morning. This is a terrible hotel."

"Some staff were rude some were friendly it depends on who you get. Place is older and it shows with ware and tare but it is ok for the price and was clean without bugs or pests. It’s gated and secure. Obnoxious party people were there but that’s New Orleans for you, not the hotels fault. You get what you pay for and it’s under 100 a night most days so book it if you are on a budget, if not go with better but if you want to save some money like I did. It was ok overall. "

"The breakfast was nice! I didn’t catch her name but the young lady that was in the window preparing grits and stuff was VERY SWEET AND A PLEASURE TO HAVE AS I WAS FIXing MY FAMILY THEIR BREAKFAST! She offered everyone some grits and went the extra mile and offered me some cheese to go with them! Very nice lady! Take care of her bc it’s rare you get good hard working people like that! Very professional! The gentleman that was there working in the am time on his laptop in the dining part was a very nice gentleman! Older but clever again American fella I don’t know his part in this company but I think he needs to be recognized also. He was quite a gentleman and very generous and outgoing good personality! Recognize these two people. It will go a long way! "
