Pros: comfortable bed and valet parking
Cons: location isnt great, but not horrible. You have to drive 15 minutes to get to downtown jeddah and about 20 minutes to reach the corniche. I wasn't happy about not getting late check out (wanted one hour so I could pray at the hotel instead of praying on the road). It was the first time a hotel in saudi Arabia made me check out at 12 (ascott on tahlia, Sheraton jeddah, and boudl om tahlia allowed me to check out at 1 or 2. Novotel in Riyadh, 4 points Sheraton in Riyadh, Golden Tulip, and many more allowed late check out or their check out would be at 1 or 2 so I wouldn't need to ask for late check out.
Note: I tried centro shaheen because of an article I read on saudigazette about affordable luxury. Personally wasn't impressive at all. If you like standard hotels like Hilton, Sheraton, Marriott, etc. Take a pass on it. If you want a comfortable bed maybe try it. I dont think it's worth staying at a price point of 500 riyals and up. Hotel shouldn't have been no more than 300 riyals a night.
