Absolutely Charming!
Loved our stay at Clary Lake B&B! The house is absolutely charming, as were the hosts. Breakfast included homemade muffins & crepes! I rate this 5 out of 5 stars for comfort, cleanliness, and charm!

Such a beautiful home. Hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. Linda made a fabulous breakfast, which unfortunately had to rush, as we had made a reservation for a cog train, and hadn't planned the timing correctly. They gave us a go-bag to take anything we wanted. The gardens were stunnind.

The owner, Linda and Rick are very nice, made us fell special setting up the breakfast ready to enjoy the homemade muffins that Linda made. The house is very clean.

Delightful
The hosts were very delightful. Breakfast was a great balance of fresh fruits, carbs and protein. Very charming setting. Gorgeous bathroom.

A very quaint bed and breakfast experience. The hostess was lovely and the breakfast delicious. I would definitely return for another visit.

Fantastic experience, beautiful place in a fantastic part of Maine. So quiet, so comfortable, so many stars in the sky, and less than 30 mins from MANY places on the coast!

The B&B was quiet and casual, with gardens and open space, and we woke up to birds singing. The hosts were friendly and gave guests plenty of room to do their own thing, and they had their own living areas. The 1850s-something farmhouse was genuine and not fussy or overly decorated. Many nice places to eat were available 20 minutes away down pleasant rural roads. Local healthy delis with local fare weren't open the day we were there. Breakfast was not fussy and delicious, with many options, and in a pleasant setting on an enclosed porch surrounded by trees and shrubs and flowers, and more birds!

I didn't dislike ANYTHING about this letter-perfect facility. It was TOP-NOTCH in every respect. And I especially enjoyed getting to know Linda and Rick, the husband-and-wife-team who've been operating the B&B for 20 years. Really they couldn't be more professional, accessible, caring, and attentive to detail. And they're fine, warm-hearted, caring, intellectually sophisticated, and yet entirely unpretentious people. And what a beautiful facility! I don't know what they could have done to make my stay more rewarding, other than allowing me to stay there year around at no charge. Only in my dreams. This is our first time staying at a b&b. The owner Linda is super nice and helpful. We love her house and her land, really beautiful. We enjoyed her breakfast tremendously. I can tell she got up early, made coffee, baked strawberries muffins and blueberry muffin which were delicious! Every utensil, water goblets, coffee mugs, plates, egg holder, yogurt glass, napkins… were placed just beautifully on the table…

Such a special and quiet spot. We were looking for a place to stay for a few nights for an event in Augusta (25 min away) and found this gem. Linda and Rick were welcoming and kind hosts, and breakfast included the best homemade muffins and cider. We met a few fellow travellers and it was a really pleasant and unique experience that we’ll remember. We did wish there were more dining options nearby but the plus side is a very quiet location where you can read on the porch and hope to get a visit from Daisy cat. Thank you for having us!

Wonderful retreat for couples or solo travelers!
Absolutely lovely! They upgraded me at no charge to a beautiful downstairs room that happened to be available; it was graciously furnished and very comfy. Multiport usb charging station /alarm clock ready to go, my very own keurig, great WiFi. Beautiful breakfast in the morning with freshly baked blueberry muffins! Beautiful grounds with lots of flowers, adorable porch with a swing for two :)

A Gem in a Gem of a State!
This is a wonderful, quiet place. Linda and Rick are wonderful hosts who serve a wonderfully satisfying yet light breakfast. The room was comfortable. The bathroom, while shared, was clean, large and comfortable! The B and B location is also excellent. Sitting adjacent to beautiful Clary Lake very close to Lake Damariscotta and equidistant to both Augusta Maine (the State Capital) and Camden on the Atlantic Coast a half hour either way to great sights, great shopping and great food! This place is a MUST stay if you enjoy a quiet out of the way no pressure experience.

Calm beauty in rural Maine near Darmariscotta. Excellent hosts led me to small Amish home store down the road. 45” to Pemaquid Point, 1/2 hr from Camden. Super friendly, well kept up.

Rick and Linda are the quintessential hosts. Ever helpful and willing to do everything to make your stay special. Be sure to see the beautiful gardens, enjoy the bounteous (included) breakfast. The B&B is filled with tastefully chosen antiques. It just feels like coming home.

Perfect place to get away from it all
Perfect place for an off-web, get away from it all experience. Lovely people, immaculately clean and well maintained. Internet known to go out frequently, so best not to count on that. Beautiful location. Near great hiking spots. Highly recommend as long as you don't need the internet.

great place
Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, they allow pets with a minimal fee (15$/day), delightful area with lots of lakes, hikes, great outside restaurants. Was a perfect weekend escape from the city, even during covid times! Expect I will be back next time I'm looking for a weekend get away. Filling breakfast, and they are also flexible with allergies - even celiacs!
