"This was a very beautiful spot. The cabin was clean and tidy but you can tell that it is pet friendly because our cabin smelled a bit like wet dog. Being able to have a fire was a really awesome touch and the s’mores with stroopwaffels was unmatched. We did have a neighbor who was having a hard time exiting the grounds but staff were very professional about de-escalating the situation. Overall, a great place and a nice getaway."

"Breakfast was good and the location was very good for my visit, the only issue I have with most Choice Hotels is that the commodes are very low, so when you have arthritic Ken’s’s it can be difficult to use them."

"This is a very cozy place with your own private lake/pond. The location is remote and quiet and there is no need to leave for any reason as long as you brought all your food and drink. The kitchen has everything you need for whatever you feel like making. There is plenty of property to get you and your dog’s exercise in, as well as a great fire pit, and a perfectly starry night sky. This was our second time here, the first time was dead of winter February, and we wanted to check it out in nicer weather. It did not disappoint!"

"Our stay was very nice. Rooms were clean, check in was easy. I did need to request a hair dryer from front desk and they originally weren't very helpful. Another employee who was taking care of the breakfast overheard and stepped into help and found me a hair dryer. She said front desk was new. So keep that in mind and be kind when there is a situation. We just don't know everyone's story. This was a good learning experience for the young lady. The breakfast area is a little small and fills up fast, but we just made our plate and ate in our room. I would definitely stay at another Microtel."

"Staff was fantastic. Individual rooms were clean but there was not daily room freshening. The breakfast was really good. Nice selection. The pillows on the beds weee SO COMFORTABLE. I would stay again without hesitation The hallway carpets needed a good shampoo or something but the rooms were clean. Location was perfect if you were visiting the Fiesta Factory. Several not fancy but really good restaurants nearby. 45 minute drive to Pittsburgh."
