Thank you so much for your review. We really appreciate your feedback and suggestions on how your stay could have been improved. We are so sorry for the issue with the trash overflow. We did our best to facilitate a pick up from the trash company, but it appears there was some miscommunication between them and they did not complete the pickup during our requested timeframe. We are so sorry again you had to deal with that. We also investigated the humidity issue you reported. We determined that the thermostat fan was set to 'ON' instead of 'AUTO' which can cause an increase in humidity. We have not had any further feedback about humidity issues so we are hopeful this would no longer be an issue.

We strive to be transparent as possible, both to portray our properties accurately, and to disclose any camera surveillance on the property. In our listing, we state "There is camera surveillance on this property. You will see a camera facing the front door, and two facing either direction in the back of the property." These cameras are for property security and we would never want them to make our guests uncomfortable or impede on your experience. These cameras are placed by the property owner for property security and safety. Only one camera faces the door, while again, the other two face the back of the property. We completely understand that is not comfortable for everyone. We appreciate the feedback about the interior and will pass this along to see what changes we can make to make our future guests experience a great, comfortable stay! We definitely try to be as completely transparent as possible and do not want anyone feeling like they did not get what they booked. The cabin is 30 minutes to Natural Bridge State Park, which we typically use as a central location to help navigate the cabin's proximity to the Gorge. I will make sure to look at the descriptions wording to ensure that is conveyed. This is a tiny cabin that does not offer a lot of space, and we are sorry that you did not get that sense looking at the pictures. The housekeeping tip envelop was something that we implemented after it had been suggested to us several times. We certainly do not want anyone to feel obligated to tip housekeeping. It is just available should you wish to do so. We are so sorry that your stay did not live up to your expectations. We appreciate your feedback and suggestions to help improve the experience for our future guests.

We're very sorry to hear you felt the listing was misleading in any way - that was certainly not our intention, but we do take that feedback very much to heart and will take another look. Hopefully I am able to provide some clarity on the cleaning fee - this fee is something charged for all guests for the preparation of the property, so the major cleaning as well as any other maintenance to get the cabin ready for your stay. We do ask our guests to complete a couple of small tasks before departing, like stripping any beds used and starting a load of towels in the washer. These couple of small things really help housekeeping to ensure they can spend their time at the cabin doing a thorough cleaning. However, we do appreciate the feedback on this as well and will relay it to management.
