Welcome to this spacious and private apartment very close to NYC (average travel time to Midtown Manhattan is about 15 mins door-to-door). This apartment is about 700 square feet (65 m2). There is a living room with sofa bed (sleeps maximum 2 people), kitchen, full bathroom, bedroom with queen bed (sleeps 2). Convenient location with restaurants and shopping nearby. Well-lit at night. No parties, events, or smoking of any kind -- strictly enforced.



This is a private apartment and you have access to the whole space. The apartment is located on the first floor of a 3-story apartment building.



If you need to park your car, please note there is a 2-hour parking limit on most streets during the day and you are not able to leave your car overnight on most streets. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for your vehicle when it is parked on the street.



Secure parking is available in the locked and gated driveway behind the building. You must pay the parking fee in advance to the host. The fee is $25 per car per day. The driveway can fit up to 2 cars. You will be able to lock and unlock the driveway gate to access your vehicle. Contact us in advance of booking for more details and to know if parking is available and how to pay for parking. The parking space may not be available for your travel dates so please contact us before booking to find out.



Buses very near the apartment will take you to NYC in approximately 15 minutes.



Nice family neighborhood with stores, laundromat, and restaurants nearby. Well lit at night. Safe and quiet. Good alternative to New York.



You can reach this location by taxi, Uber, or bus. The easiest way to NYC Midtown Manhattan is to take NJ Transit Bus 123 at the corner of 24th St and Palisade Ave (one block away). The return bus leaves from Gate 214 in Port Authority Bus Terminal. It costs $4.00 per ride. The ride takes about 15 minutes.

Self check-in and check-out are available. There is a lockbox with keys at the entry door to the building. We will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival, not earlier.



The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. We may not be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm) and we will not issue refunds for problems with checking in after 11:00 pm. Early check-in and late check-out are not available. There is no luggage storage available.



Please note that this apartment is located in a historic, older building. Some recent guests have arrived with higher expectations than what we can provide given the age of the building. The apartment looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced place very close to New York City, this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you.



We also just want to make clear that you are renting an apartment and not a hotel room. There are many differences between short-term apartment rentals and hotels, and some newer guests to this platform may not realize it. Hotels are large and often have many rooms, and the ability to change your room should issues arise. Hotels also have staff 24/7 that can help you with every issue or questions that you may have. On the other hand, we are a small operation and manage our listings to the best of our ability. We try hard to create a good experience for guests. We are including this disclaimer here because we have recently seen a rise in guests that seem to view the listings as very similar to a hotel, but in reality the experience is quite different. Thank you in advance for understanding this.



Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. You will receive the email and/or text about 30 minutes after you confirm your booking. Please complete the verification prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process. You will be given the choice between a refundable damage deposit (administrative fee for this option is $10) or a non-refundable damage waiver (the cost is $35). This process is required. It is not optional. You will not be given access to the listing unless your status is `approved` from Truvi. You will need a valid credit card in order to complete this process. We are fully disclosing this here so that a guest cannot claim after booking that this was not disclosed. We will not give refunds for reservations if you choose not to comply or you are not approved.



Note: If you pay us directly with a credit or debit card, we will ask you to send a photo of the front and back of the card, and we will ask you to sign a credit card authorization form. The name on the reservation must match the name on the credit card and the name on the ID.

Convenient location to NYC

Great location just across the river in NJ. Only a 15-20 minute bus ride to Port Authority. Good sized space with basic amenities. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Still in a city location with sounds of the city outside so earplugs would be helpful if you are used to a quieter place.
