"Love this hotel"

"The staff was excellent and so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good."

"Great place!"

"Room was clean and services were great. Food was good and location was perfect."

"The hotel is undergoing renovations. We were given a room in the not yet renovated section. Furniture and wall trims were frayed. Had great difficulty matching switches to lights they controlled. Front desk was of zero help. Promised some money back - have not seen it yet. Would strongly recommend that travelers pick another hotel when visiting Jerusalem."

"Beautiful hotel. Wonderful breakfast and very nice pool."

"Brilliant food, great location and staff we incredibly helpful and responsive"

"Room and hotel were very clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice as well. Felt like good value and would recommend. Parking was a huge plus!"

"Tiny rooms, no privacy, rooms were teribly hot"

"Great hotel with excellent half board, dinner on Friday evening and lunch on Saturday. Well situated - overall great stay!"

"Amazing and convenient location in city centre. Sits on a pedestrian only street with shops and restaurants. Sitting area in front. Room was clean, simple, yet tidy and comfortable. TV has all Israeli channels, and international news channels. Central air and heat makes it easy to control room temperature. Checked in late, and always someone at the front desk to help. Large lobby for sitting. No room service, more of a boutique than a regular hotel. Recommended to friends coming to visit as...

"Can’t beat the location. Staff was quick and helpful whenever we needed them."

"Wonderful stay, beautiful and classic property, greatest location, outstanding staff"

"Great location and really clean. Our room was small but had a really large terrace with a great view. I would suggest that room."

"The hotel was excellent. The only issue was finding parking"

"Not the best property, Orelse you need a quick rest for a night."

"Staff was very helpful. Great location for exploring the Old City and for walking Ben Yehuda Street."

"Room has some mold in the bathroom sink. Lobby is nice, breakfast is good. Forgot EarPods in the room and they did not let me go back to the room to get them. If you forget anything in the room consider it gone in this hotel."

"The American Colony is a superb hotel! It is an oasis of calm and hospitality in busy Jerusalem! The staff is excellent! The hotel itself is gorgeous - historic with all of the modern amenities. I have traveled the world, and it may be my favorite hotel!"

"Nice location with warm atmosphere recommended"
