If you request the Falconieri room for 2 beds, check beforehand to be sure there are sheets and a blanket for the couch bed. All i had was a pillow. I didn't realize that til we got back from the opera after midnight & it was too late to bother the staff.

We had a hard time finding Dimora Storica on google maps where it says the place is “Permanently closed.” We also realized it goes by several different names, so this got us slightly concerned. We contacted Hotels.com for help who couldn’t get the owner to respond either. We eventually received an email in Italian answering our question about parking and telling us no disabled parking was available, although we could see on google street view there was. We were told we had to park in the Mercantini parking lot which we did. It’s many levels and about 10 mins from the hotel. And on Sunday when we went to retrieve our car - the lot was CLOSED until 6pm. We contacted the manager, but she was at the beach. We decided to relax in the room all afternoon. Room was large and nicely appointed, but the air con didn’t work and it was very hot (35+ outside). Jesi is beautiful and historical and very quiet which we loved, but the hotel was difficult to find, contact and the parking was hard - as I use a cane, using our pass would have really made things a lot easier. We think the manager didn’t actually know the local rules which we had looked up prior to landing in Italy. We had used our pass successfully in every other city for the past 3 weeks, so it seemed odd she was so adamant we couldn’t in Jesi. We highly recommend the Federico II Museum in Jesi - it was excellent. We tried to visit the gallery and the library, but they were closed on Sunday - as was the tourist office!
