"The property's is in a very beautiful location. It was very easy to contact the host with any questions or concerns that we had. There were two issues that we had that lowered our ranking: first, there was a musty smell in the main bedroom that had my allergies going overtime; secondly, there were some bugs in the kitchen area. However, there was some bug killer that allowed us to take care of them somewhat."

"The cabin is very private on a pond. The lighting options are excellent everywhere inside. We enjoyed the screened in porch every day in the morning and often in the evening. The whole place was cozy and well thought out. The recliners were a great place to relax in the evening. The kitchen was equipped with enough plates, utensils, pans, etc. to prepare all of our meals. We cooked chicken for the week on the very functional and maintained gas grill.Everything was exceptionally clean and very well taken care of.One morning on the way to class at the Folk School, a tree was down across the road. We contacted the owner, and they were out there in 15 minutes and had it cleared out very quickly.The 10 minute drive to the Folk School made this a great place to stay while taking a class there.We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area."

"We were so pleased with this cabin!We bring our motorcycle to ride in the mountains and this was a perfect location. It’s right on a paved road.Easy access to town and restaurants.The cabin itself was so warm and inviting with its mountain decor. Cleanliness was top notch. Loved sitting on the porch and watching the deer. King bed was DELUXE! Julie was a wonderful, attentive host.Hope it’s available for our next trip to Murphy."

"The cabin was nice, but we didn't know there were stairs going in which made it a little difficult since I have ambulatory problems. The fire pit describe was down the street when the listing made it appear like it was on the property. The furniture needs updating, the couch was sunken so low was hard to get out of. The yard for dogs was the side of a hill and mostly rocky. Overall we had a nice quiet stay on a scale from 1 to 10 I would give it a 5 for comfort."
