"Nice little cottage. However, the photo on the website suggested that the cottage was near facilities, but they were miles away. The directions to the cottage were poor.But the cottage itself was nice and clean."

"If you are after a big accommodation near the beach, with ostriches and llamas, hundred years old garden and trees and no near neighbors except the owners...this is for you. Perfect base to explore Kirkbean and Dumfries. Not very far from everything.You are given all opportunity to just be there but if you need help, Alistair is always ready to assist. You will have everything you will need. The only thing I can comment is that the showers are a bit tricky to use as they are all in a tub. My group loved our stay. Thank you. "

"Lovely cottage and very comfortable. We went out of season so probably worth noting the shop, pub and cafe are not open. That aside we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and can imagine it gets very busy during the season. You can get Morrisonâ€™s to deliver groceries if you donâ€™t fancy the drive. The owner is on hand for anything you need ðŸ˜Œ"

"Great accomodation, for 3 generations plus 2 dogs. Absolutely spotless, with clean and comfy beds for all 8 of us. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook all meals. Great, enormous garden for the dogs to run around. The hot tub was a much loved addition, and helped make our 70th birthday celebration a great success. Also nice to know that the owner was near at hand if we had any problems, although we had none."
