"I have stayed here at least 3 times now and really like it but will now only stay on the lake side because the website says the rooms are soundproofed but I stayed on the street side and found it noisy. The water side has always been quiet. This is my only complaint"

"Besides the beautiful location and kind and helpful host who responds to Expedia messages shockingly expediently, this cabin is well built and maintained, a great country getaway. When we arrived, we were greeted by 5 extremely friendly dogs on the property, then to the cabin where the old-school wood stove/fireplace was already lit and warmed up the place, plus 2 complimentary freshly baked dark chocolate cookies and prosecco waiting on the table. There was fresh towels and linen with extras, stocked kitchen essentials and a full kitchen with oven and induction stoves plus a microwave with more functions than I thought microwaves could do. The front deck overlooks the vast farm landscape, next to it across the fence within steps, alpacas sometimes swing by to check on us. The same view can be enjoyed with warmth inside through the giant windows that keeps the cabin well-lit during the day. Beware if you pet the dogs, they will continue to stop by to ask for more until you leave or have to conjure up the strength to shut the door in their faces."

"Fritz is a caring, welcoming host, who greets you at the door. Our Green Suite was very spacious and clean, with a little patio outside. Our host, a former professional chef, provided amazing breakfasts with home baked goods and encouraged us to make sandwiches for the road on the last day. Come prepared to listen to the host's long, fascinating stories."
