"We had an amazing stay at Moshams recently on a mom and daughter’s trip to Rishikesh. It is run by a sweet couple, Sharmila and Mohit who truly make the property welcoming and full of charm. From the time we booked the property, they engaged with us to arrange transportation, food and activity options and shared insights into local sites. The rooms were spacious with big, clean bathrooms. We enjoyed the clean waters of the pool. Special mention to the chef, Mr.Narendra who cooked some of the best food we have eaten with fresh, local ingredients - the Pahadi thali is a must try! Sharmila went out of her way to get medicine for my sister who had a bout of ill health, much appreciated!!! All in all, Moshams scores in hospitality, curated food and a quiet, pristine location. The treks we did near the property were a lot of fun! Highly recommend Moshams to anyone visiting Rishikesh! "

"Excellent stay for 2 nights. Very helpful and polite staff. Ganga view from our room was mostly trees (3rd floor) but top floor common anea and restaurant floor view was spectacular. Restaurant is fine dining, somewhat expensive, but high level of service and food quality is good. . Nice ambiance with live sitar music. Included breakfast also good, with many options available, both Indian and continental, hot and cold. The highlight of our stay was going to the Ganga Aarti with Mr. Vijay (included with hotel stay). He took a group of 8 of us and did a good job of including both Indians and foreigners. He took very good care of us despite a heavy rainstorm, kept good track of us in the chaotic environment, helped us to participate fully. and arranged a tuktuk for us for the way back because of the rain. Was one of the highlights of my trip to India! Free yoga in the morning which was very good, and high tea at 4pm. "

"I do not recommend this property for the following reasons: Location- terrible. We couldn't find any mode of transport to the Ghats & market. There is also no sign board on the road to guide you to this place and one has to ask around people on street, guards to help if they help. Service- our food order arrived 30+ minutes late and after several follow-ups. Aircons have no remote so you need to keep furniture to stand on and then reach for the controls. Bathrooms - the washbasin taps open with a sudden of gush of water so fast it will wet you :) "

"While continental breakfast was included they offer Indian breakfast lunch and dinner menu. One need to be careful with the math for meal bill. Earliest BF we got was at 8.30 otherwise 9. AM is normal. The location is quite nice if you can walk up the hill next to the building otherwise to reach the upper level it is a e longer route. Both Ram and Janki hula are within walking distance fromthe road down the the hill"
