The drive from Mussoorie is via a winding road, which passes rugged mountains, pristine terraced fields and sleepy hilltop hamlets.
You can visit Bhatta Falls year-round, although heavy rain in July and August can cause landslides and restrict access. Avoid swimming elsewhere in the streams, which are often filled with algae. Be careful if climbing on the rocks as overspill from the waterfall makes them slippery.
