"Cons: we booked a jungle view room which really turned out to be a junk view. Not hotel fault but surrounded area is residential and all dumped in their backyard!! Secondly, it was very very cold in February, and hotel tried to beat it up by portable oil heaters! Three hours and nothing happened!! We complained a lot, and finally they moved us in a room where there was a real wall heater!! Great relief. Good that it was not a busy season and a room was available. But not having a wall heater is bad! AC, wall heater, hot water are basic requirements of a 3-star hotel in any room. PROS: Management was very nice in recognizing our issue, and moved us to an upgraded room without any extra charges. Once settled in, we found everyone very courteous and helping! Excellent service! They even booked our transport to Delhi airport at very reasonable rates. Appreciate!"

"Rokeby Manor and Landour were a real find for me. The mountain inn is perfect in ever way: Outstanding location, thoughtful and guest centric touches and personalised service, both front office and F&B showed a distinct willingness to please the guest, excellent food and restaurant, lovely rooms that have been redesigned without overt modernisation. Couldn't find fault with anything in Rokeby Manor. "

" Last week we were there it was a great deal for the price since although they claimed they had a tour coming in it was pretty empty I can't complain but I definitely paid extra $500 rupees for the heater as the only other disappointment is there's not a separate shower area in the bathroom but it's a good short walk right on Mall Road "

"Service was absolutely fantastic. But it’s partly because they have cheap “interns” doing the rounds. The room was very comfortable, but 1. The entrance light was not working, 2 the shower door gasket is very old and shrivelled, so the water leaks out. The restaurant food is good to very good, but prices are way out of line. Same with liquor. The morning breakfast buffet is “free” and there is good variety and choices. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate special requests. The cultural events and high tea in the afternoon is great. But as it gets chilly in the later afternoon, the bonfires are inviting. But, as I discovered, also very expensive! It might be good for the hotel to light at least one big fire for all guests to enjoy. All in all, a very good experience, but the property could use a bit of TLC. Nevertheless, if you ignore the small “issues”, and focus on the beautiful nature surrounding this property, you will have a great time. "

"Wonderful experience. Kid friendly resort . Went there with 10 month baby but it came out to be a fantastic stay all thanks to the highly cooperating staff who made extra efforts to keep the kid comfortable. Rooms are good ! Breakfast was also good ! Lawn was very well trimmed and the glass house was the icing on the cake. 10/10 experience all together"
