★ WILDLIFE ★
Wildlife in the high-desert can be categorized into diurnal and nocturnal. Animals that are largely active in the day are ground squirrels, birds, and lizards. Desert animals that tend to come out and roam at night are reptiles, kangaroo rats, coyotes, scorpions, spiders, black-tailed jackrabbits, etc. Consider yourself lucky if you spot a desert tortoise! Keep in mind that it is illegal to pick them up as they are State protected animals. Enjoy wildlife from a distance and allow them to pass through. After all, this is their home too!
★ NOISE ★
We want you to have an amazing time at Sapphire Haven! However, one thing to be aware of is noise in the desert travels VERY easily and we want to continue respecting all of our neighbors/desert wildlife so we can continue hosting beautiful experiences in the desert for you all. Please respect the noise ordinance rules of quite hours after 10pm and if there is music during the day it is a reasonable volume and you can hear one another talking. No large speakers please.
