" We have a large dog over 100lb and to find a vacation rental that excepted him was hard to find. Luckly we found Solo suites, the apartment was great and spacious and the parking was free which was a bonus. Checking in was so easy. My only down side was the noise from the elevator, it was very noisy, the only time it was quiet was from 12 30am to 5.00am I would stay at the Solo Suites again but i would definitely choose a different apartment."

"Nice quiet neighborhood and the room was very clean. Host was quick and helpful with communication. About 20 min from downtown victoria and 20min from uvic but easy to get around with a car, with many shops within a 5 min drive. Would reccomend!"

"The room was nice, clean and updated - breakfast was a nice touch. But this hotel is incredibly loud. We stayed 5 nights and every single night we battled with excessive noise, doors slamming, loud hallways etc. I understand the staff have little control over its guests, but there was no effort made. We have young children and our stay was exhausting due to the excessive noise and disrespect of others. One other note is the elevator - there’s only one and it’s very slow, and always packed. "

"This is a nice clean suite in a beautiful neighbourhood. The only complaint I have is it would have been nice to have more than one bath towel. Other wise an excellent stay."

"Pets definitely welcome! We had our cat with us. The kitchen allowed us to cook our meals over our one month stay. Kitchen had almost everything we needed. Joshua is an excellent host! Great communications, and took care of even the smallest request! "

"What a beautiful well appointed tony two bedroom suite. It was so clean. The appliances are excellent. Very comfy bed. Great view. The owners, Crystal and Marko, are the nicest people. Response to any question was almost immediate. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend!"

"Close to everything. Quiet location. Very clean. Could use more tassmo coffee pods, only four for 4 days for 2 people. Smoke detector went off while making toast, perhaps in a bad location. Stephen was very helpful. All in all a good stay."
