"My husband and I needed a place last minute and we lucked out with this place. Ted and his wife were amazing. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. They made sure we were comfortable. I had a great night sleep on their comfy beds that I haven't had for a long time. The place was quiet and relaxing. The gentleman Bernhardt was helpful and kind and so friendly! He made the stay there very easy. We felt so comfortable in their amazing home with a beautiful garden and views of the ocean. In the morning, breakfast was served on fine china dish ware. It was everything you would need for a satisfying breakfast. We still talk about the stay and the beautiful people there. Thank you Bernhardt for all your help."

"We absolutely loved the location. Very quiet and perfectly located between Butchart Gardens and Victoria. Easy to drive to Sydney which the host recommended. Crystal and Marco were fabulous hosts. Crystal helped us plan our two-day itineraries, made excellent recommendations including parking lots, restaurants, etc. Their suggestions added to our touring experience. The only caution would be if it is a rental for an elderly person or someone with limited mobility. Stairs going down into the unit, the tub/shower is a soaking tub so talker than a normal tub so difficult to get into it for a shower."

"The property was in a quiet part of Victoria (about 30 mins from downtown/ wharf street). The suite felt separate, private, and had everything for a short term stay. The home made muffins left at our door in the mornings was an unexpected highlight."

"Thank you so much Jayne, for your wonderful hospitality. We sure enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the cruise ships and all the other ocean sailing vessels and wondering where each one was going to or coming from. What a fantastic place to spend our weekend. Close to lots of tourist attractions, to Victoria and to the beach. Hatley Castle was so fantastic to see, I think it was the highlight of our granddaughters weekend along with the close proximity of the Lagoon. This wonderful seaside oasis was just that SUPERB!! Christell"

"This is a freshly prepared listing, with a lot of care and craftsmanship put into designing and building the suite. It is very well done, with nice finishes, quality cabinets and materials, and delightful furniture. The beds are wonderful, and the bed rooms are nicely laid out and prepared. The washroom has good storage for everyone's travel bags, and is nicely appointed too. The kitchen is well designed with lots of storage. There are servings for 7, and appropriate pots and pans, along with a Kuerig coffee maker, and quiet dishwasher. The host was helpful and responsive. We happily recommend staying at her place, and would again in the future."
