"If you are looking for a “caribbean experience” close to the beach…this is it. However, if the beach scene isn’t your goal, you may want to look elsewhere. We had a group and chose the property for our last night in country. It was pretty noisy with party music and lots of activity until 11PM. Emmanuel at the desk was very friendly and helpful…however there was a misunderstanding with the breakfast buffet. We went to the restaurant expecting it to be free and the waitress was rude indicating that we must pay. Had she handled the situation better, we would’ve likely ordered there instead of going off site for breakfast. Beds were ok, facilities are somewhat dated. View of the ocean-beautiful. Beach access and quality—great! "

"The staff was friendly and approachable. The rooms are extremely outdated and should be renovated. There are no activities during the day. The meals were not up to par. In the hotel amenities they say they have a coffee shop. Well it’s a lie. They have a coffee stand. There’s a difference. "

"Not good for kids only adults. Usually don’t leave reviews but I need to for those with kids. Not a very kid friendly hotel. Even thought they mention all these restaurants they only actually only have 1 buffet opened the same every day and only opens at 12.30-2:30 so if you have kids that need to eat earlier, or snack in afternoon it’s frustrating. Long lines waiting for the buffet to open and long lines for hot fresh food during the small window. Everyone is on top of you grabbing food. Limited foods available. There is a 24 hour snack bar at the beach but just burgers/ hot dogs/ pizza/ fries that sit there in the sun all day. Again if you have small children, nothing for them to eat there, no fruit no nothing until buffet opens. They also have no kids pool like advertised. 2 are 4 foot+ and 1 small jacuzzi that is not on. (This is not a kids pool but advertised as a kids pool) Hotel is poorly maintained and very run down. Rooms are good. Sewer smell often all over. Staff is not really friendly. Don’t bother, go to a kids hotel if you have small children. Beach is perfect and the only reason this resort is running. Entertainment is good too but very late shows for the kids who need to go to bed early."

"It was a sad stay. We didn’t feel welcomed and it just felt sad to stay here. The first incident was when we arrived and wanted to make change. I asked the desk guy if they made change and he said yes. I counted the money in front of him and left it on the counter, he was distracted and tried to give me only $90 in peso because he said his cash was short and that if I was sure I gave him $100. That was enough for me, I don’t play with money. When I asked for my exact money back which was 2 $20’s and 6 $10’s he tried giving me $5’s back….. like sir, I didn’t even hand you 5’s. Well just disappointing "
