"We really enjoyed our stay in The Tuolumne Suite (#11) at the Gull Lake Lodge! It was upstairs (2nd floor) in the center of the complex. Parking was no problem at all, even after leaving the property for a few hours, then coming back to find ample parking during the Trout Opener in the June Lake Loop, between June Lake and Gull Lake. I was surprised there was a room left with the trout opener in the June Lake Loop area in a few days! So I booked it at a spur of the moment because of freezing...

"I'm afraid Boulder Lodge is taking advantage of its impressive lake views to charge a bit more than is justified. It's the little things: tv not working (intermittent), 3 out of 5 door locks broken, hothouse temperature on 3rd floor. Parking was a minor hassle. WiFi was all but unusable (easily overcome with minor equipment additions). These are things that should be taken care of before they demand a $200+ room charge.
