  • This wonderful vacation home is perfectly situated to provide a glorious, 180 degree view of Gastineau Channel, easy walking distance to downtown, and ‘backyard’ access to a trail system that can take you to the Perseverance Trail and beyond. Solid hickory floors provide a welcome warmth and cozy feel as you watch the sunrise over the channel. Once you settle in for your stay, you might not want to go anywhere!

We came for a wedding

We had the perfect location to enjoy Juneau and the surrounding area. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds comfortable, but the view steals the show. If we ever have the opportunity to come back, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Awesome views of Gastineau Channel, pleasant walk to downtown Juneau

Greta was so kind and helpful dealing with my many pre-travel messages asking about logistics, restaurants, things to do in Juneau! It was the perfect place to settle for a couple of nights before our Un-Cruise departed. All pros, can’t think of any cons, 5 stars from us!

Gorgeous House with Amazing Views

This is the second time I've stayed and would absolutely stay again. The views of the water are fabulous and it's short walk from town. The whole house is very well stocked with plenty of sitting room for many guests. There are games and books to keep yourself entertained while at home and the kitchen is fully stocked with whatever cooking you might want to do. The host was great to work with as well and was very accommodating and responsive to whatever questions or needs arose during our stay. You can squeeze three smaller cars into the driveway - and that's a lot for downtown Juneau!

Greta's place was perfect for our multigenerational family getaway. Tons of room to hangout, everything was in great condition, and super easy to get around. This is an incredible, modern house with magnificent mountain and water views. Located away from the big cruise chaos, but if you’re in good shape, you can enjoy a nice walk downtown. You might want to Uber back because of the hills.

Greta and the accommodations were the best! We spent 3 days in Juneau and the home is located close to many of the sights. We walked to downtown (there are hills, but none too steep) and hiked the Gold Creek Flume trail close by. All else was within easy driving distance.Greta responded promptly and kindly to all of our questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Nice, clean, very well stocked place. Main rooms were spacious with beautiful views, beds were comfortable. Host was very prompt in responding to an initial problem locking the door and then periodically checked to see if everything was okay. I would highly recommend.

Our stay was wonderful albeit the rainy season, but this meant seeing lots of waterfalls in action. The place had everything you could want and was well stocked. Great views. We were 5 friends from school days on our 28th reunion. There are plenty of great hikes within walking distance and we often walked to town. The host clearly knows how to run a VRBO.

Best spot in Juneau

Our stay was great! Super location right in the heart of Juneau, easy to get anywhere in the area or walk right into downtown for the afternoon. The house was in great condition, beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you will need, and our family of 6 fit comfortably (the 2 of us, 2 kids in elementary, and my wife's parents). Greta and Gabby will take great care of you and are very reachable if needed.

Fabulous Property!

Fabulous property! Spectacular water and mountain views. Loved watching the cruise ships as well as Wings Airways float planes arrive/depart the downtown waterfront. Just a short walk to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and shopping. Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, well stocked refrigerator…I can’t say enough good things. This property doesn’t disappoint. Highly recommend!!!

A beautiful home overlooking the Gastenau Channel

A perfect vacation home for a Juneau getaway. Each morning we appreciated the changing views from the top floor. The kitchen and living spaces were perfect for our week-long stay. However the best part was walking access to Cope park, downtown Juneau, and the ocean walk. It was the perfect place for us to unwind after busy days.
