"A very good option for downtown Juneau. Classic old-town feel. No air conditioning in the rooms except for a fan but I understand, AC days only happen a few times per year. Quiet and clean room."

"Pros: room was clean & comfortable, appliances worked well, housekeeping was good, convenient to airport Cons: no hotel entrance auto-opening doors for elderly or handicapped, someone would have to open the door and hold it open, no breakfast offered, front desk has limited hours Neutral: 15-20 minutes from downtown, spacious rooms"

"It was super cool experience, however the pictures didn’t make it clear that you’d have communal bathrooms and showers, nor did I see it listed anywhere that we wouldn’t have one in the room. Not something I necessarily minded, but they didn’t have any ventilation in the bathrooms so it felt and smelt really dirty. Like you were showering in a Porta potty, it was hard to feel clean staying here. It being in the heart of downtown town made the experience worth it! I would recommend staying here I just think not knowing you’d be sharing a bathroom/ showering area with no ventilation threw me off a bit."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful and the feeling was that it was more rustic as there is usually a lot of rain and the area around the hotel was more gravel and at the room window the weeds are a bit overgrown. Our room was downstairs from the lobby and although there was an elevator it didn't go down to the lower floor and with heavy bags this was a bit much. I did get help when we were leaving to haul my bags upstairs and that was a blessing! I also noticed a fairly strong aroma of pesticide in the stairwell. At breakfast the food was good but the wait staff was quite slow and inattentive. The bar closed about 9:00 pm which seemed a bit early for a bar."
