"We stayed in a one bedroom with an amazing ocean view. The unit was big with full kitchen and everything we needed. Access to beach and pool were easy. We were able to snorkel from the beach by walking a few 100 ft down the beach. Pool area were nice and clean but could need more umbrellas. The hotel is 6-7 minutes drive from shopping center with grocery stores, restaurants and other stores. I would definitely go back if I visit Maui again. "

"Rooms were overall clean. Full kitchen with dishwasher were a plus. Staff was friendly and pools were clean. Beach was less than 5 minutes away. We’ll be back. "

"Pros: Family Friendly, but quiet at night and pools were amazing for all the kiddies. Not too crowded either. The cabanas were very helpful, however they are getting a bit old and worn. We use them several times. Cons: Not enough food options, Duke's is really more of a bar for adults and the food is not what w3 expected and very expensive, even though it is on the beach. Very limited restaurants close by our actual hotel, and did not have their own bar or restaurant in the hotel. Nearby store was limite for food options. I think they really need to upgrade food availablilty. When they had a recent tsunami warning, they shut down the FEW food places. They should have better emergency plans for their guests as they need food. "
