This property was just so beautiful! Every morning we had our coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean and watch the whales splashing around. They were so close we could actually hear them breaching! The unit was very comfortable clean and had a great location on the beach!

Perfect in everyway - On the beach, next to the pool with million dollar ocean views. Perfect for a family vacation with 2 separate bedrooms and well equipped kitchen If there is any thing that I would have liked to have seen it would be a pair of life vests and some snorkelling sets Will stay here again!

Beautiful Resort and Unit

The resort is spectacular with tons of pools and onsite restaurant and stores. Beach access just a few steps away as well as a shopping area directly across the street. Our host was amazing and checked in to make sure we were doing well, and the unit itself was amazing. We spent every morning and evening on the bal only watching the ocean and listening to the birds. Each room had plenty of space and the kitchen was fully functional. This trip went down in the books as one of our favorites and we can’t wait to go back.

Great vacation

My family and I stayed here for my 40th and my father’s 70th birthday with our two girls. The place was exactly like the pictures the view is incredible. We had beautiful sunrises with rainbows some days and beautiful sunsets. We also saw some whales in the distance just from the balcony! If we needed anything or had questions Amir and Miriam were always available to help! We will be back again and highly recommend!

Location on the island was great with dinning, shopping, long walking path, great beach, and good snorkeling surrounding you. Unit is beautiful with everything you need. Parking is great under the building with an elevator right to the hallway the unit is on. Owner checked in with us and was available if we needed anything, but we did not. I hope to stay here again.

Location, location, location; we loved the location of this property. Close enough to most things, but not overwhelmingly crowded like Kaanapali south of Black Rock. Property is very well-equipped for vacation, including the little things you might not expect like a cooler, beach chairs, foam roller and yoga mat. Having a kitchen (also well-equipped) and laundry was also made life more convenient. Super easy check-in with clear instructions. Hosts were very welcoming and responsive when we had questions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We came in late and the staff at Honua Kai we very helpful in getting us parked and into our room. The room itself was beautiful, everything looked new. First thing when we woke int he morning we went to the patio and were blown away by how beautiful the view was!! The pools, access to the beach, and local restaurants were great for us! The hosts provided beach chairs, cooler and football for some fun in the sun too which was great when traveling to other beaches around the island! Next time on Maui we will reach out and look to stay in this unit again!

BETTER THAN THE PICS!

Gorgeous property grounds and the condo is impeccable. My husband and I shared one room and our adult son the other. 2 master bedrooms make it ideal. The lanai is beautiful and the view is spectacular. My only suggestions would be to include binoculars, more wall hooks, and new shower heads. The remodel on this place is perfect. The outdoor pools and Duke's restaurant on the property make it extra special and convenient. Parking was a breeze as well. I HIGHLY recommend this unit. It is truly special. Mahalo!

Exceptional Experience in Maui

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Honua Kai and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The property was exactly as described, if not better.
