Snorkel Kailua Bay's crystal waters in the morning for best visibility, then explore the historic Hulihe'e Palace along Ali'i Drive. Coffee lovers shouldn't miss touring the nearby plantations where you can taste fresh Kona beans straight from volcanic slopes.
Lived this resort. Lots to do on site and fantastic grounds etc.
Great yoga classes daily.
Food hit and miss. Had terrible pasta dinner in the Beach Tree, Cacio e Pepe which was not at all authentic and had cream and butter.
Be prepared to pay top dollar for everything. Breakfast for 2 averages around $100.
Bar staff seem to only know what's on the menu and couldn't make simple drinks like Aperol Spritz!
