"Hosts were nice, place was very clean and so close to everything. I wished we had an extra night here so we could use the snorkel gear! I loved the patio area - saw a beautiful sunset. It was also perfect for morning coffee. The only thing I would suggest is the host should have turned on the fans since the space was quite warm when we arrived. The decor was nice - felt old school. There were five of us, all adults, and there was plenty of room. "

"Our first trip to the big island and we fell in love with both Hilo, and Kona. Fantastic location, beautiful safe and clean unit and property, the ocean and gorgeous sunset just across the street, great amenities, responsive host. Also appreciated the powerful Jacuzzi and the full size refrigerator. It is centrally located to so many Kona attractions. Very glad to find parking each night, but we made sure to return early each day since it is busy. Just a super lovely experience that we will take with us. Bravo and Mahalo! "

"This is the perfect location for visiting the area. Just a 5 min walk to the stores and restaurants. There is a small public beach right next to the complex. Magic sands beach is a walkable distance or can take the heliobus. The supermarkets Kta or Foodland sack n save is fairly close. You really don’t need a car if you’re staying here. The unit is fairly well appointed. The kitchen has most everything one would need. Friends visiting commented how nicely the place was decorated. The view from the lanai is unsurpassed. Stunning sunsets every day. The bed is quite comfortable and lots of storage space for clothes. Convenient to have a washer dryer in the unit however if you any sensitivities you may want to bring your own detergent pods. Have given the host a few suggestions to make the renter experience even better. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend. "
