"Contactless check in and out, we picked up our key in an after hours box. We found the staff kind and helpful when needed. Nothing fancy but clean and had great views of the valley. Quiet hotel that is suitable for guests looking for budget friendly option in a central location. Grocery store, Starbucks, restaurants all in walking distance. "

The home spacious, clean, beds comfortable, comforters and pillows were luxurious, lots of space for our family of five !! And the location was absolutely prime ! "Truly, an exceptional experience! We have visited several Auberge properties over the years and while the chain always provides an excellent experience, the Mauna Lani surpassed all of them! From our warm greeting to the hotel, to the fabulous hotel grounds and amenities, to the helpful staff, nothing was left undone. The lobby of the Mauna Lani is nothing short of breathtaking, with a wide array of gathering areas and comfortable nooks. The beachfront areas had gorgeous views and the property amenities included free snorkeling gear, paddle boards, and fun activities, like a tour of their impressive fish ponds. The Mauna Lani left us luxuriated, relaxed and feeling that aloha spirit!"

"Beautiful ocean view. Space was very clean. We spent our time exploring the island and were not interested in the large resorts. Host were welcoming! Thank you for the fruit plate! If you want a comfortable and quiet place to stay, this place will not disappoint. Use of a washer and dryer was also a plus."

"As advertised, the staff is exemplary! All you need to do is ask and a member of the staff will fulfill your request quickly. We had a problem with our TV and they replaced the entire TV in about 15 minutes. The staff has a sense of pride when it comes to making sure everything works at Mauna Kea and that all of your needs are met! Our room was meticulously cleaned daily and again, you can ask housekeeping for anything and they will respond to the request promptly. You won't find a better beach than the one at Mauna Kea Beach. It's an all sand beach as far as you can walk out into the ocean. I highly recommend the Mauna Kea Beach hotel and will return there in the future. "
