"We enjoyed an 11-day stay at Villa Sausalito over the winter holidays. It was spacious and roomy enough for my husband and myself, our daughter, son-in-law, and their two children (4 yrs. old and 6 mos.). We had four local family members join us for Christmas dinner and really appreciated the large kitchen and dining table. It rained almost non-stop, so we didn't swim, but the pool table in the man-cave/converted garage made up for it! Other highlights: two distinct seating areas in the large den/living room allowed small group conversations and play areas for the kids; the patio is beautiful to look out upon (but again, we were there during rain so weren't outside much); comfortable beds; and a water heater that never gave out (simultaneous showers were never a problem), and well-stocked with bath and beach towels. One of the most important assets of this home is its proximity to shopping and retail. It is within easy walking distance to Topanga Village (outdoor mall), Westfield Topanga (indoor) Mall and more restaurants than one can possibly sample. A couple blocks away, there's a playground at Woodland Hills Recreation Center (a real plus for families with small children). "
