"We initially rented 2 rooms at another hotel for our daughter & friends and another for us for her 14th birthday. When I arrived at check-in, I was informed the pool was out of order and apparently had been for weeks. That was the whole point of the reservation! I cancelled that reservation and made new arrangements from their parking lot. When we arrived, literally 10 minutes later, Amanda was able to get us rooms close together and the pool was working. "Sitting somewhat away from the main street it is quiet with an absence of road noise. It is an older motel with some shabbiness in the hall carpeting and room chairs, but the room itself was clean. The breakfast offering was above average, fresh fruit; the eggs, sausage, and sausage gravy were well prepared and warm, several kinds of juice and blends of coffee. The pool looked inviting but was closed."
