The Grand Traverse Bays- East and West

What fabulous scenery around both bays. Lovely beaches, and cherry groves and wineries. Charming towns views spectacular! A good place to stay to wander the gorgeous area.

NICE HOME ON QUIET LAKE

The home offers a nice, clean space for a family vacation. While indoors the bathrooms definitely need updating, the outdoor space was lovely with plenty of room for yard games, bonfires, and lake toys.

Quiet Crawford lake in ranch style cottage. Very nice place and liked cooking on BBQ and Black stone under covered porch. Dock was great to park our boat and we enjoyed fishing, boating and tubing. We had a wonderful time and wanted to stay longer.

Once again a great place to stay

This is the second year in a row staying here and everything was perfect. The view of the lake is amazing. The house is awesome. It’s not too far from Kalkaska if you need items. I would definitely stay here again and hoping to in the summer to enjoy the water. Thanks again for hosting us.

We have a small cottage on the lake and needed extra space to have family up. There Was plenty of room to spread out and the owners were accessible for any issues, even our late check in. Love our lake! It’s a quiet slice of heaven!

Great location and view of the lake

We come to Kalkaska every year for upland bird hunting with our German Shorthaired Pointers. We are always looking for a property that will acccomodate us and our furr family. This place did a great job with that. We enjoyed the coziness of the gas fireplace and the view of the beautiful lake.

Location, location, LOCATION!!

This very cute cottage could not be in a better location! We wanted a vacation that we could ride our ORV’s, but also wanted to be lakefront. This has it all, beautiful views of the quiet all sports Crawford Lake and we could ride the side by sides and quad right from the cabin to the trails!

We spent two weeks at Crawford Lake and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, and comfortable and suited us well. The week included boating, fishing, bike rides, smores, relaxing, playing games, short walks, and quiet lake serenity. It's a great place, a great vacation. The only problem was our trip ended.

Awesome lake house

The place was really awesome and right on the lake could go swimming right out the back door and the place looked better than what the pictures show. The bed in the small room was very comfortable and the manager was very friendly and easy to work with she got back with you right away if there was any problem. My family and I would stay at your place again very beautiful house. We had a wonderful time at the lake house so clean and comfortable. The recliner couch and chair was a added bonus everything was well kept up and sitting outside on the deck watching the sun set was really relaxing. Thank you for everything we had a wonderful time at your lake house.

A weeks summer getaway

Our family experience was great. We were an extended family ages 7 - 69. Most of our adventures circled around fishing. We moored 2 boats at the dock and they went out in morning and evening to troll and still fish. There also was fishing off the dock for pan fish. Everyone caught something but we are catch snd release fisherman. The younger 2 went out tubing with their Mom and Uncle and and had a ball!! I could hear them laughing from the front deck. Inside the house there was everything available that we needed to cook almost every meal we ate. The place was clean and pretty spacious. It was close enough to town so we could hop over there for supplies. All around nice time.

Truly Wonderful!!

This property is perfect for a relaxing week away on the water!! The residence is exceptionally clean, very comfortable, and has everything you could ever need. It is located very close to Elk Rapids, Torch Lake, and Traverse City just in case you want a little extra something to do. However, the beautiful sunrises, amazing sunsets, and peaceful water coupled with swimming, walking, kayaking, paddle boating, and bonfires are more than enough to fill your days!! Rick and Teresa were absolutely amazing hosts!! You can tell they love their place and truly love sharing it with others. They graciously honored a special request of ours which allowed us to make this vacation happen and they were 150% available whenever we had any questions or concerns. We had originally planned for a vacation in Tennessee which we had to cancel unexpectedly and we are so lucky to have found this place instead. We could not have imagined a better place to spend a week relaxing with family and we are actually grateful that our original plans fell through. Do not hesitate to book here you will not be disappointed!! Thank you again Rick and Teresa for a wonderful stay!!
