"I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is beautiful, nestled into the mountains and a short drive to Samaria Gorge and the White Mountains. There is an incredibly sweet local/rural vibe that feels very safe to walk around and see the local goats and sheep. The breakfast and meals here are incredible, some of the best meals I had in Crete. The rooms are basic but very clean."

"Absolutely loved our stay. Hosts were amazing and the property was perfect for us. From providing food, drink and treats for us to making sure everything was as it should be and then a gift when we left - thank you! The best guide as to whether a holiday was good or not in my mind is whether you would go back to the same place. In this instance the answer is a resounding YES"

"Great location a short distance to Chania. Many great socialization areas outside where the wonderful scenery and birds could be enjoyed. The outdoor kitchen, seating area, and pool were great for this group of 7 which included three generations of family and friends from four different countries. The bedrooms were equipped with comfortable beds, lots of closet space, and air conditioners. It has three bathrooms which two included showers and one had a very large jacuzzi tub! The kitchen was large with in kitchen seating and well equipped with a dishwasher. The house had a washing machine and dishwasher which are always greatly appreciated. It was a great central location that we could do day trips from (Botanical garden, Chania old harbour, multiple options for wine and olive oil tasting, Imbros Gorge, Balos Lagoon) and then have a relaxing evening or morning watching sunrises and sunsets. This was truly a memorable vacation home!"

"A beautiful house in the mountains. If you want peace and quiet this is perfect. The views are incredible. Despoina is a wonderful host who generously made us homemade cakes! This part of Crete is not busy but the local tavernas offer wonderful food (cheaper than in the main areas). The mornings are cooler in the mountains so this is a good area for walking."

"Eine fantastische Unterkunft in den Bergen von Kreta. Bestens und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, toller Pool und prompte und immer freundliche und hilfreiche Antworten auf alle Fragen die wir so hatten. Sowohl direkt von den Besitzern als auch von der Versorgung vor Ort. Sehr gemütliche Tavernas in der Nähe die wir gern mehrfach besucht haben. Alles in allem, 10/10 Sterne und wir würden sofort wiederkommen."
