"Stayed here for two nights with our family of 5 (including our 3 little kids). The pool was fantastic and for most part we were the only ones using it which was great for the kids. The room was nice enough, not incredible but it was big enough for us all and well kept. The food in the restaurant was fine - pretty normal pub food. The kids meals for breakfast were quite small. I would suggest ordering a normal adult meal for any kid over 5. Staff were lovely. The play area for the kids was great. There are a few free arcade games and also paid ones. Overall a good spot for families!"

"Friendly reception staff and a good-sized room for a solo traveller. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that impacted my stay. The heater was very loud and sounded as though it may need servicing. The curtains had multiple holes throughout them, which allowed a significant amount of light into the studio room. Block out curtains would have helped reduce the light coming in from outside. The walls also appeared to be quite thin, and I could clearly hear noise from the room next door. As a result, I didn’t have the most comfortable night’s sleep. Overall, the staff were welcoming, but some maintenance and soundproofing improvements would greatly enhance the guest experience."

"Convenient location with bus stop right outside. Easy walking distance to train station, local supermarket, shops and eating outlets. Accommodation decor showing its age, however, everything was clean and comfortable. Car parking right to the door."

"Perfect place to stay with a dog, with plenty of space to run around, all fully fenced. Loved the outdoor area where I spent hours writing, having coffee and listening to the birds. The hosts told us how to walk to the local lake, and we loved it. Great place to explore Bendigo, with the city centre only ten minutes drive away. We enjoyed lots of food left for us by the hosts, including delicious eggs from the local chooks. Would love to be back."
